To be fair, I don't think anyone enjoyed developing for PS3 lol.
Used to love Battletoads, but everything about this looks awful. From the art direction, to animation, small stages, just looks slow, chugging, lifeless and cheap. Very disappointing, as I would have bought day one just to support the series.
The same thing is going to happen with Bayo 3.
And I could say Bayo 2 > DMC5. Shit, I could say I'd prefer the original DMC over 5. Who cares if a game is subjectively better than another? I'm enjoying Astral Chain, the action feels great. Bought DMC5 as well. Both good games.
Astral Chain is friggin awesome! Go buy please, any Switch owners who like action and Platinum titles.
I dare any of you to beat Lion King on SNES without save states xD
Rage inducing.
Or Monolith Soft work with Retro on the next Metroid title o.o
Yes, they do. Nintendo owned a large part of Rare, there is Retro, Intelligent Systems, HAL, Pokemon Company/GameFreak, etc. Often what happens is if they don't own the studio, they fund and publish the game, and own the IP, so they'll develop a good working relationship with that dev to continue those particular series. For example, Fire Emblem, and now Bayonetta. Platinum doesn't do many sequels, other than Bayo 2, but if Astral Chain sells well, Nintendo may want another game i...
Definitely a no. Nintendo published the game, and they are also calling it a first party title, and own the trademark lol, meaning they own the IP.
Time to get a Switch perhaps? There's already a fantastic library of games. Got mine on launch day, never have regretted it.
If you like Dark Souls, and artistic, indie titles, this game is a fantastic merge of the two. Greatly enjoyed it in on Xbox.
Can we put Wolf Among Us on this list? I know Fables isn't a very popular graphic novel series, but the storytelling in that game was top notch.
6 watermelon seeds, September 6th Nintendo Direct confirmed xD
I'm calling it lol.
I mean, you can probably do everything in the game lol. Go back and look at the level of detail at the time in games like MGS2 and 3. Those games were unnecessarily detailed lol. Like ice cubes that melt in real time that only exist in one bucket in the entire game. Kojima just loves that stuff, adds to the world.
People acting like the entire MGS series isn't utterly ridiculous. Of course it is, and that's one of the reasons why fans love it.
Truly. Most of the side quests, I wasn't doing it for gear or experience, I just wanted to know what was going to happen. Very rare with open world games. For instance, the werewolf quest.
Like Square Enix has? Lol. PE 1 and 2 were so good D':
It's a damn shame. Although they were released on Vita as part of the classics collection, which was great.
If I insulted my customers at work, I'd be in serious shit. I don't use social media now, and would never even dare to if I was a developer with my name broadcasted on a very public product. At that point you are a business representative 24/7.
I mean, Nintendo is launching an entire line of Switch handhelds that will never connect to a screen, and TW3 will still be very playable on them. The Switch Lite is pretty much the size of a Vita, slightly bigger. Graphical fidelity reduction aside, the entire game experience is still there. You don't think that's pretty awesome?
It's because many people in the industry are older, late 20s, 30s or older, and aren't focused entirely on graphic fidelity. When you grew up with a NES and a Gameboy, everything is incredible these days. It's just taken for granted.
You can't deny that running Witcher 3 on a <10W mobile chip is a pretty impressive technological feat.
Get back to me when a Switch emulator can play this game at full speed. Then let me know how much the PC costs lol. If you're cool with pirating, might as well hunt down an old Switch and hack it. Worth every penny. And even then, do the companies a favor and advertise and suggest the games you like to other people, in person and online. Astral Chain is an awesome action game. I love the fighting system.
