I've never even considered Halo on Switch. Probably (definitely) never going to happen, but that would be absolutely amazing.
For real, hands down some of the most beautiful art direction ever crafted in a game.
That's fair, but with the right advertising, I'm sure many people would love to play Ori on Switch. It's a tough game, but I'm sure it would be magical to some, especially kids who have never seen anything like it.
Ori was partially funded and published my Microsoft though, and they own all distribution rights.
It's probably a pipe dream, but Rare Replay with Donkey Kong Country 1-3, DK64 and Diddy Kong Racing (while I'm dreaming, with online racing perhaps?) added to it on Switch would be a dream come true.
Unpopular opinion, but Scholar of the First Sin is my favorite DS game. Might have been because it was the first one I played, but something about the world and setting in that game drew me in like no game has since.
Yes, I've beaten all of them lol.
They are going to struggle with monetizing this game, and probably have been. Being free to play, monetization is necessary, otherwise it will cease to exist. You could argue that free-to-play model in itself shouldn't exist at all, but that's a topic for another day.
The problem is, the art-style and characters aren't as attractive to kids as Fortnite is, who get their parents to spend money on cosmetic crap.
Crap like this is happening because Respawn has no id...
They're already dead man, just let them go.
I mean, it is EA. They own the studio lol.
Educate yourself on the Switch hacking scene. There are multiple subreddits and youtube videos. You have the option of removing wifi connection from the device, and wiping it clean after a hack, using eMMC (separate bootable firmware, to keep a clean partition and one with custom firmware), or buying a second device. There are only so many vulnerable devices out there, and it's a shame to let that potential go to waste. It's quite possibly the greatest handheld emulation device ever m...
To do that, it would have to be a game that's not as open. It was a necessity with BotW because there are no real artificial walls in the game to keep you from progressing to any area. So if weapons didn't break, all you would have to do is know where one strong weapon is, or stumble upon one, and then you are vastly overleveled for the entire game.
Well, they can improve on certain things, but it depends on the direction they take. Look at Majora's Mask for example. It's a sequel, but you can argue which game is better since that and OoT are so vastly different from each other. Could be the same with BotW 2. Might have entirely different gameplay mechanics.
This is true, the sidequests in BotW were not great. I don't even care about material rewards for the quests, just give them a great mini storyline like in Witcher 3, to flesh out the world's lore.
I would hope it will be a better game, would be a shame to move backwards. For one, it's not being developed for the Wii U, so optimization will be improved, and more resources available. Two, the engine and assets are already available to work with, leaving more dev time for polish.
Nobuo Uematsu working with Yoko Shimomura for the soundtrack. Have Sakaguchi develop the story concept. Return to form.
Honestly though, just give me a remake of FFIX lol.
NA release of Terranigma with new translation would be a dream come true. Most underrated SNES game (or probably any game, for that matter) ever made.
I'm pretty sure a ton of people are getting into the game due to the VR update. I sure did. It's nuts. It's pretty big on any VR subreddits right now too.
Shitty launch side, there's probably a ton of things they could do with this game if it keeps making money. They have a whole universe to work with. Look at Minecraft, for example. Still being developed.
Not really. That group would have used a vaccine as a political tool anyways. They had other motivations than saving humanity, and weren't the greatest people either. Remember the way they rushed into it at the end? They weren't thinking about the world, it's that they were losing a war and needed the leverage. That, and there was a good chance they wouldn't even be able to synthesize it either. Joel wasn't necessarily damning humanity, it was more of a "fuck these pa...
The risk isn't that great though, considering that even docked, the X1 in the Switch is still under clocked. They're bringing it up to the speeds that are running in the Shield line, using the same chip.
He meant smaller MS exclusives, Ori and Cuphead.
