Same with Ubisoft. Many of the games they published during that gen were beloved. Splinter Cell, Beyond Good and Evil, Morrowind, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. I miss those days lol.
Well if cut content would have given a game an AO rating, that's basically suicide. No one would stock it, and given the climate at the moment, they probably wouldn't be able to advertise it either.
This fucking sucks, because esports have finally just begun to get some mainstream attention. Now no one wants to touch it, and it's going to hurt the entire industry, the players, coaches, advertisers, anyone that works in merch, down to distributors, graphic designers, etc. Great fucking job, that was millions in tax dollars.
I've met wonderful, fantastic friends through gaming over the years. If there really is going to be an attack on this hobby, it's not going to pre...
Remove Body Harvest, Pilotwings, Clayfighters and the first Castlevania for sure (leave Legacy of Darkness, that game is awesome). Those games would not sell a classic console.
Not mentioned on this list, that could also be fine additions if a 64 classic ever happens, or a collection on Switch:
Turok 1-3 (3 is underrated, people only talk about 1 and 2)
Paper Mario
Conker
Jet Force Gemini (yeah, Rare, I know)
Resident Evil 2 (was awesome on N64!)
Smash
F-Zero
Mario Party 3
Wave Race
1080 Snowboarding
WWF No Mercy
Harvest Moon 64
Yoshi's ...
It's all of the above lol. They remixed much of the game, balance changes, new activities, new characters, added additional months, etc. It's a whole game, you can't buy it as an expansion.
There's no way, unless sales plummet. Even then, they'll just drop the price. Their strategy already seems to be to support the Switch for quite a long time.
Netflix will probably be toast soon. Disney owns like, all of media, and is pulling everything for Disney+ and Hulu, which they also own.
It's crazy that Demon's Souls hasn't had another release. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
They'll make money by collecting huge amounts of psychological data from playstyles and selling it to every company under the sun that asks for it lol. I'd bet anything that controllers going forward will have more sensors in them. You'll be able to create profiles and tell who in a household is playing based on how they hold and use the controller. You can already extrapolate that kind of data from phones to identify a person based on how they use it, touch it, walk with it, etc....
Kind of a clickbait title, even though it's a very informative article. Seems it's not that the Switch isn't USB-C PD compliant, it's that shitty third party dock engineering is just supplying too much power, or hitting pins it shouldn't due to Nintendo shrinking things a bit, causing a short.
I suppose Nintendo could have made public documentation on exactly how it all works, and the chip they're using, but there's no legal obligation or business incentiv...
I love Halo, but I have no intention of buying the next Xbox. Had a One for most of this generation, and felt completely burned my MS most of the time. Not enough exclusives. UI, Gold benefits, Game Pass and online experience is subjectively superior, but it's not worth giving up better performance and games.
I think you forget how 4 was reviewed when it released. Consensus was revolutionary game play design, best graphics and one of the greatest games ever made.
3make could probably be done within 2 years, and they'll need testers throughout development to test different builds. It's probably a safer game for them to make than RE8.
Stronger processor, but it's clocked at the same speeds due to the smaller battery, which is unfortunate, because that means the chip it gonna be underclocked by over 50 percent. Smaller screen as well.
This is pretty interesting; I never knew about this. Also, look up the Satellaview if you're not familiar. Nintendo was using satellites for live playing digital content on the SNES in Japan back in 95.
I leave this here: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
The man was a brilliant programmer and gamer who loved what he did. He was working on the Switch and apologizing for the Wii U on his deathbed.
Oh dip.
Good on NVIDIA. Security on the Switch is actually pretty good. Flaw with the chip, can be done on any device using it, such as Shield TV.
With modern control schemes, Turok still feels very enjoyable and playable today. Those games were waaayyy ahead of their time.
