Add games you're actively playing to your Pins if you're going digital. Will save you a great deal of time.

Things go up in price, this will always be true. My question is however, when AI starts doing alot of heavy lifting in the development of games, saving them absured amounts of time and cash, will they still decide to continue charge these new prices? If DLSS and similar become standards, that's already something that devs will save time on, creating super-high quality assets, because they can just be upscaled with machine learning. This tech is just going to continue to improve, with text...

You'd be bored watching someone else play Witcher 3 as well. It's about getting caught up in the details of the world, and the fantastic writing. No one loved that game for the combat lol.

The lighting looks a bit cleaner from what I can tell?

Man, this. The original Xbox and 360 were such great consoles and experiences, but the Xbox One, compared to the competition, was just the definition of mediocre as far as exclusives go. I love Halo and all, but damn.

Someday. A persistant world where changes carry on, like Animal Crossing, just in a much larger setting. Like he said, planting a seed and watching it grow in game, being able to have children, having your character age throughout life. We're almost there as far as tech goes lol.

Also, alot of what was promised wasn't delivered at the time originally (nor do I think it was technically possible at the time to do so), but Fable was still a pretty stunning game at the time it came out. Definitely wouldn't have been possible outside of PC/Xbox at the time to run on.

Sony has far better exclusives, for sure, but I've always liked Xbox's OS and online functionality much better. On my PS4, even with the proper ports open, half the time I can't even load into the store at all to see what's on sale. It hangs until I test the internet connection through the system settings to reset it. And if you're not using voice functionality, and have alot of digital games, PS4 is a pain to cycle through the games/menus.

Native and dynamic resolution aren't even going to matter soon once AMD implements its own version of DLSS. That's the future. Everyone will build their games at 1080p, and have AI upscale it to 4k. We're gonna see way more 120fps and beautiful graphics in a few years on all consoles. Can't wait.

This game is absolutely beautiful, but the story has been moving very, very slow so far. Also, I've come across alot of small bugs that really pull you out of the experience. I'm liking it about as much as Odyssey. Really hope Ubisoft decides to go back and give that game an upgrade. Doubtful though :/

They will probably publish Bethesda games on Playstation, but you gotta admit, having all of them on Gamepass for $15 a month is going to be much more enticing to many people, opposed to paying $70 a pop.

I will get a PS5 as well, but there are reasons to own an Xbox, and why I bought a Series X. I really prefer the feeling and button placement of their controllers, I already have hundreds of digital titles, I like the UI and online services better, my friends/family play on Xbox, so it's a social thing, and I gameshare with my little brother, so the Series X has more value to me personally. Until the PS5 builds a large exclusive library, and more VR games, I'll hold off. I can wait fo...

Probably not. Outside of US, Playstation is generally completely dominant, save for Nintendo in Japan.

Of course it will, if the stock was there. Playstation is a beloved worldwide brand, and they make a great product. That doesn't take away from what MS is doing though. It's a really good console too.

Been playing Valhalla on mine. Gorgeous game. Honestly, the quickness of the UI and reduced input lag are some of the best features. Everything feels incredibly premium. Especially the controller. Great elasticity and resisitance in the joysticks.

If most devs end up going for parity, and don't want to optimize fully for either console (which is pretty likely), we're probably not going to see most multi-plats run significantly better on either platform. Either way, the performance the Series X and PS5 give over the base models for last generation are pretty amazing. I have the Series X, and it is snappy AF. Much lower latency for control inputs too, which was immediately noticeable and feels great.
Anyways, I hope eve...

This game is beautiful visually on Series X, and I'm sure it is as well on PS5. Alot of the problems I see are with the actual development of the game. Character animations in cut-scenes are wonky AS HELL, and I've run into an uncountable amount of bugs already. It's an enjoyable game, but it's obvious that it needed more dev time, and we'll probably be seeing patches for awhile to come. Hopefully.

Man, it must really suck though, waiting months for anything, and spending the money, then having it come broken out of the box. I've been very fortunate to never have a console fail on me. Except for when my N64 fell off of an entertainment center and completely broke long ago. That was a dark day lol.

Very bad; Glycerine is sticky. There will be cakes of dust inside those components in no time.

Makes you wonder how much money people in gaming "journalism" generate from some of their click-bait articles, or by just blatantly lying.
