Absolutely. Chrono Trigger, FFVI, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, A Link to the Past are still widely regarded today as some of the greatest games ever made.

Fatal Frame series is pretty much Nintendo exclusive now.

I'd wager that most of the users here are teenagers and not actually grown men.

You actually can use a sci-fi gadget to scan for enemies in BotW. Enemies, weapons, animals, various types of plants and foods. Almost every collectible item in the game, and every enemy can be targeted and tracked.

You only have 14 days I believe. Add Dob Rozner and I'll see if I can invite you to the preview program. Just send a message if you do.

Super Mario World, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Final Fantasy VI, A Link to the Past, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario Kart, Turtles in Time (need a beat em up xD), Super Castlevania IV, Megaman X. If there were only ten, probably a likely list.

If you look at the chip in the NES mini, it is WAY overpowered for what is necessary to run NES emulated games. Like, it has more power than the Wii or the new 3DS. That's a good indicator that NES bought the chips for the NES classic at a huge discount, and that there was a limited supply, and that's how it was intended from the get go. If that's the case, they'd probably have to purchase those chips again at potentially a higer price, perhaps losing them money, or dump money...

When Nintendo first started development on the Wii U, tablets were nowhere near what they were shortly after its release. They sorely misread the market with the device in general, and thought it was going to be a unique experience. The entire concept of it was rather poor. That given, I still enjoyed the hell out of quite a few games on the console. I think the Switch is much more appealing to the masses.

Are your sure you know how to use grammar?

Well, Nintendo had lots of third party support with the 3DS, just obviously different kinds of games. If the system sells, and has a good attach rate, developers will make games for it. Then again, it's safe to wager that most of you here hate the 3DS xD

Pokemon, Xenoblade Chronicles HD, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter, another top-down Zelda, Luigi's Mansion, Smash, Metroid, Fatal Frame and a new Mario RPG would be great and are also likely.

Give it time. I'm pretty sure the world's going to explode once Pokemon and Monster Hunter Switch bundles are announced.

Is that why Indy games are more popular than they ever have been? Good art direction holds up much longer than raw graphical power.

Technical issues? Witcher 3 at release says hello.

I have played many, many video games in my life, and the only time I've ever found myself struck by beauty while playing a game was not because of raw graphical power, but the art design itself. Games such as Okami or Xenoblade Chronicles were never graphically demanding, but you should be able to look at them and see beauty in what has been created. Great art design is something that BotW has in spades. Another example for a recent game would be Inside. The graphics are not fantastic by ...

Ocarina of Time probably. That game made more changes to the industry than almost any other game ever has. That and Mario 64 were in an early period of 3D game development though, and Nintendo basically made leaps to show the rest how to create in that atmosphere. Nowadays, there's not really much new ground to break it seems. Someone will have to come up with a revolutionary game in VR if we are ever to see that kind of influence again. Also, Metroid Prime was damn near a perfect game in...

If I HAD to guess, perhaps the case is that Nintendo bought surplus parts for use in the manufacturing of the NES Classic that were very cheap at the time. If they sold all of them off that were available, and the parts are either not available or have become more expensive, that could have given them reason to decide against further production. In running any business, there is much more overhead than most of you would believe.

Ease of development is a good thing. Developers are probably quite tentative, considering Wii U sales, but if the Switch starts to sell like the 3DS in its prime, they're going to start hopping in.

If you haven't, and if you ever get the chance to, Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii is one of the most fantastic games I've ever played. Amazing JRPG. If I had a PS4, I'd probably be playing Persona right now. A little jealous actually xD
