Bravely Default was developed by Silicon Studio. Octopath is being developed by Acquire, which is the same studio that made the original Tenchu series. Takahashi and Asano are employees of Square Enix who produced Bravely, and started Octopath. Same producers, but different developing team.
What do you mean? Everyone was saying not to get their hopes up for anything, especially not Smash.
Also, the copyright is 2018 instead of 2014-2018.
I bought it launch day on Wii U and loved it, but I definitely can't justify paying full price for it again :/
The story needs alot of work. The original Halo was simple, and the music honestly carried most of the game forward itself. The idea that a fan needs to keep up with an expanded universe to understand the contents of a game (Halo 5) is just poor execution. That being said, the production values were great, and the multiplayer is excellent.
Twilight Princess? The Zelda formula was created in the 80s man. Also, Resident Evil 4 came out before Shadow of the Colossus. I'd also argue that the combat system in the Souls games took influence from Monster Hunter, although Fromsoftware has been in the game for a very long time. Not that Shadow of the Colossus wasn't fantastic. I think that, Ico and Okami really cemented the idea that games could be incredibly artistic, and probably has inspired loads of creativity since.
Castlevania: SotN, Vagrant Story, Dragon Quest VII, Valkyrie Profile, etc lol
That sounds more like a broken game than a hard achievement lol
I have an Xbox, and I absolutely loved SotC on PS2. Also, Turok was a beloved N64 game, which is probably one of the most adored consoles of all time despite its small library.
That's Turok 2, I belive in the original it was NTHGTHDGDCRTDTRK. Don't ask me how I remember that xD
Sometimes, like the case with Bayonetta, a company agrees to fund the development of a game in return for exclusivity on their platform of choice. A studio like PG for example relies on those funds to create their games. Bayonetta 2 would have been canceled if not for Nintendo, and I'm assuming a third game was part of the deal they struck. At the end of the day, Nintendo were the only guys who had enough faith in the series to actually put money behind it.
Their portfolio is so diverse, I'm sure they'd like to express their creativity elsewhere as well and not get stuck doing one type of game. Really looking forward to a new Tenchu.
Dark Souls 3 isn't enough because it's multiplatform? That is ridiculous.
It's a world where those beasts exist, who hunt and kill humans on site. If humanity in that world is to flourish and exist in new environments, they would have to first conquer the land and any threats to them. It's what we do.
If it's convenient enough, people will go to it. There was a time where people laughed at services like Netflix and thought digital music was silly. Granted, there are still markets for physical media, but I guarantee in ten years that gap will close significantly.
I'm just saying, with the way AI and technology grows, in 15 years the world could be a very different place. I imagine one day soon AI will probably also be able to create any kind of audio, video content procedurally and near instantly based on its owner's likes as well. I'm talking "Alexa, write me a book in the horror genre similar to my interests," or "Build me a game like Dark Souls." The day this becomes possible, what need would there be for people to ...
5G networks will be rolling out within the next couple of years, and the latency is supposedly so low that it can be used to perform surgeries remotely. I imagine in ten years cloud based services will begin to replace hardware solutions for many consumers. It's what businesses want anyways. Complete control over how you use their products, while collecting a subscription fee. In 12 years, I imagine Playstation and Xbox will be services people use on their phones, which by then will repla...
The 3DS has a really great and diverse library.
I would love to see Nintendo's team take on Donkey Kong.
I've always wanted a crossover. Dream big lol.
