Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
8 Days info can't get here soon enough. I forgot where, but a while ago, some developer or something said that the gameplay did indeed look like that initial trailer. Coolness. That, some 2 Days to Vegas, and maybe an outing by Quantic Dreams (please?) are all I'm asking for out of this show. And maybe a hint at what Team Ico/SotC is up to.
I'm also looking forward to more insight into The Agency, and maybe those Eye cam games we'd seen hints of.
I am ever amazed at the "one thing"s that will prevent people from buying a game.
Don't know about downloading, but you can watch it here: http://www.gametrailers.com...
Maybe Gamespot has it for downlaod by now.
I'm definitely excited about this one. This will be the first one to turn me onto MMO for the reasons they mentioned; you don't have to spend an eternity building up a character, and you actual control what you do. The sole reason I don't like RPGs is the fact that you hit a button and some die in the backrgound determines hits and misses and your fate.
I'm a huge fan of music games, so anything that incorporates them into its gameplay is a sure purchase for me. it's clearly silimar to Rez, except in 2-D form. Look forward to it :-)
If you head over to Gamespot, you can download a hi-res version of it; already in MPEG-4 of that. Just send it straight to your PS3 and voila.
If I'm not mistaken, their prices in Japan were already MUCH lower than the rest of the world's.
If that's not the saddest attempt at...
If it's just zooming and changing lighting people, and all we have is a single screenshot, please explain to me how the end of the barrel of the gun moves from the left hip to the right hip with the aforementioned alterations? If you're gonna PS it, at least pay attention to detail.
Everyone should just wait until they see it in motion before making decisions.
Since Andy has seemed to really enjoy his time spent with Heavenly Sword, it'd be really cool if they could coax him into helping out with Quantic Dreams' new game. They've (QD) just built this pretty hi-tech mo-cap facility and everything, and I'm sure he could offer some insight/advice to their process.
You do realize that PS3 wasn't even out last E3, right? There's no reason to believe they wouldn't have presented coverage like this given the opportunity.
*edit*
There's no "fault" to it. Their system wasn't out, and yet you're claiming they should have somehow had demos and video downloadable to the machine. Unless they can shift time, there's no way they could have done it last year. It's a multimedia machine with internet access; I'm just saying...
I agree whole-heartedly with trailers spoiling things. It's the reason I haven't kept up on any Assassin's Creed footage in months. "Don't wanna know, don't wanna know! I can't heeeeear you!"
How do you challenge a guy not to answer a question posed to him? He wasn't interviewing himself.
now now, don't fret

Yeah, this is an old video.
*sniff* had me all excited too :(
Indigo Prophecy is indeed the most emotionally engrossing game I'ver ever played. It's also the most immersive; it's one of the few times I can recall getting into the game enough that my mindset was "what should I do?" rather than "what should I have the character do." Usually in gaming, I feel like an observer, where-as with IP, I actually was drawn into the story, action, and decisions.
If Heavy Rain (
Ahh well, I p...
Hmm, so long as this isn't plagued with the obscenely long load times of the PS2 version, I may end up getting this. I was so excited about getting the first game, but waiting 30 seconds just to retake a scene was so annoying I got rid of it. Game looks nice though.
Quantic Dreams is one of two developers whom I'd buy any game they made based on blind faith alone, the other being Team Ico. Indigo Prophecy was one of the most engrossing games I've ever had the pleasure of playing, and I trust QD to put forth the same amount of effort, detail, and innovation into their future projects as well. I can't wait to see what Heavy Rain turns out to be (it was because of that E3 trailer that I made my youtube account; first video I ever posted too), and if this ...
I think that regardless of how close they end up getting, seeing how near they are with this early build is impressive, given that they kind of had to "estimate" where they'd be in 2 years (with the '05 trailer) and hope they'd meet it. That can't be easy, especially with new hardware.
