It (300) isn't supposed to be out until the 31st in the States.
I was a little sad when Agro fell off the cliff...
Seriously though; if they ever make a game of Where the Red Fern Grows, I'm staying far away from it.
Team Ico's could do it; their games are all about tapping into player emotion.
Either them or Quantic Dreams; that's where I'm placing my money.
I agree; I've already paid in the past for the GH1 and GH2 bundles, and now those guitars will be useless :(. I'm thinking I'm just going to get Guitar Hero 3 with its guitar, since that's supposed to work in Rock Band. I'll get Rock Band with the drum set. And I'll get Singstar with its inevitably included microphone.
That should cover my bases (except for the bassist) while spreading the funds (but keeping the fun).
Wow, even I'm groaning at that one ...
I don't think it's the kind of thing where you have to download each update individually. I think that if one had a launch system, and hooked it up now for the first time, you'd still just have one update (i.e. I think they build upon each other and carry previous changes). They don't take long at all, just a few minutes.
I'll probably use the same one I have on my pc for now: http://wallpapers.boolsite....
Should allow enough space for the XMB on top, and it's still black.
*edit* Upon further inspection, it looks like they have a few from boolsite in the collections there.
I'm happy with the background wallpapers and editing video settings/upscaling mid-game. Still waiting for the music playlists (could folder classification have anything to do with this?) and codecs (still don't feel like converting 275 gigs of video to mp4).
I agree. This and the LAIR demo are going to have to tide me over until the end of August when the onslaught of games begins.
Whoa, since when is Rock Band a timed exclusive?
And I wouldn't call Guitar Hero "stolen." The first game was a huge risk, attempting to break through a genre that isn't a huge seller, and requiring a peripheral, which is usually the death note for a game. PS2, with it's low cost of entry and huge market, was the the sensible choice to start things off with. Once the game got popular, they expanded platform (i.e., after the first game). I wouldn't call that exclusi...
Bernese Mountain Dog FTW!
I'm still iffy about it. Sports games, fighting games, and puzzle games I can see it being cool for. But the bulk of what I play are action/adventure stuff, where the music's kind of important to the gameplay/atmosphere. And to be honest, I kind of like the music in the games anyways. But then again, I've never used this feature, and maybe it will change things for me. I've played 2k5 plenty of times with the music muted and the PC playing, so this is the same concept, I guess.

Don't blame yourself though; it took me a while to find it, and I KNEW it was there ;-). They entered the title sans spaces, which won't show up if searching by the title the normal way.
I don't know how much there'd be to "upgrade," really. More likely, just "expansion pack"-like releases of new levels. The great part of PSN titles is that you can tweak them all the time with patches and downloads.
I personally can't wait for The Agency. It appears it may be that "Gateway Game" that turns me onto the genre.
How much do MMOs typically cost, anyways?
Spring/Summer?! Well, patience is a virtue . . .
Expanding Playstation World sounds like we could be getting some news about the VOD and music/media downloads.
Never been a fan of MMOs, but I've heard good things about Lineage, and I've always been intrigued by the concept of City of Heroes.
And thanks to whomever edited the submission by embedding the video. I'll have to make sure to include that next time :).
Wow, I can't imagine anyone having a legitimite reason to disagree with that...
I too think that the more subtle, natural animations they throw in, the better. And it makes a world of difference to see him actually have to unstrap the weapon to use it. Sadly, when he originally switched from the AK or whatever it was, there was no holstering animation; it just appeared on his back. But hey, you can only ask for so much.

Darn you!! Don't you already have enought points down there :P
Seriously though, happy to see that they're ready to roll it out of the factory. Means they have time to get that demo out there. Can't wait for August!
