Happy people can finally play the demo and understand it, but I wouldn't by any means call this a "Huge PSN Store Update;" I was sitting here expecting store remodeling and movies and stuff when you entitled it that way :(. This is why we should stick to the original titles.
My bad; didn't find that article when searching for duplicates
I've been kind of wavering back and forth on the issue for a while, and have finally decided that as long as it's just a FEW games, this isn't so bad. Basically, in regard to the 360, the HDD can be viewed as a peripheral. As on any console, only a few games use any given periph, right? And if you want to be able to play that game, you'll need the periph. "This game requires Eye Toy, or Gun Con, or DDR mat;" now, it appears, there's just a new item on the list. Looked at from t...
Wow, two out of every one thousand. That's pretty darn close to just saying "no failure rate at all."
I seriously doubt there's any way Killzone 2 WON'T have online. It's a shooter; that's an industry standard now-a-days to extend the game life. Killzone 1 is still played often online.
Which is a good thing for some people. I know I'm not the norm, but I traditionally don't look to see if a game has online, especially platformer/adventure games. It's not a shooter first, and online would probably feel tacked on. Unless it wasn't focused on shooting. A detailed environment with some cat-and-mouse action COULD be worthwhile in my eyes; a sort of pursuit game. But just throwing 20 players in a level to have them kill each other doesn't seem to focus on what the game's abo...
Who says you can't play AO games? You can, it's just no publisher is willing to release one, because most retailers aren't willing to stock them *cough*Walmart*cough*
With the arrival of DLC, maybe someone can push one out on the side. But then again, I can't think of anything vulgar enough or violent enough that it'd warrant an AO that I'd want to play. I think the first Manhunt was unnecessarily brutal, but I by no means don't think that those who do enjoy shouldn't be abl...
I agree, it's going to be an expensive fall. Thankfully, making all those reservations is finally paying off. EB Games has been holding onto 300 of my hard-earned dollars since before summer even started. It helps knowing games are going to start dropping, and they're already financially taken care of. $5 here, $10 there, equals a game paid off pretty quickly.
haha, haven't sprung for the two extra speakers yet; room's not large enough to need them, and I doubt I'd appreciate the difference if it were. I like the detail and scale they're taking to make things feel more epic and cinematic in this and HS. I think this game, much like GoW, will steam-roll awards when it comes to audio. It's very rare when the score comes across as powerfully as the story and graphics; enough to make you say "wow."
Wow; can't wait to hear this coming through in 5.1. I think it's cool the way the music is designed such that at any point, it can fluidly, or dynamically, or "whatever-you-want-to-cal l-it," shift to a different piece to match your actions on-screen. That'll definitely give it an organic feel.
Wow; free college. And not in a communist way either; that's definitely something that IS worth boasting.
Camera angles aside, the game itself (resolution, clothing fabric, color, etc.) looks great. Can't wait until this comes out state-side; definite buy for me.
As for the comment, as someone had been so kind to mention, if five guys with swords all decide to attack at the same time, I see much more than just the intended target getting hurt.
He's basically said GoW's in Barlog's hands now. It's no longer his property to fret over, but that he wouldn't be adverse to offering his opinion along the way, should they want it.
Only have 32GB? Try 4 left on the 60GB model.
There may very well be a full-install option off the disc; you never know.
Given how drasatically the movies departed from their namesakes, you really can't be surprised if the games follow the same path.
Ok, A: they talk about issues with LIVE, not the PS3 specifically. And B: this is about Madden, not 2K's game. So, I think you're wrong on both points there . . .
It sounds like you're referring to the special move executed when you have two of your three orbs filled. This can be done in the demo, by the way.
A sixty-hour adventure game? That's a rarity indeed. Even assuming they sucked and cutting it in half, 30 hours is still friggin huge. Can't wait!! I thought God of War was a decent length, and that was a mere 10 hours.
