I learned last night that I really suck at Capture the Flagy :-)
The sliding panel was just such a wonderful degree of sexiness in machinery.
Come on now, everyone knows EST is the only true time zone ;-)
I'm one of those people. I was flying around frustrated until I saw someone's comment that you have to press L3 to talk. So used to Resistance's open talking.
Was Penn State the school that gives the students Napster subscriptions for free?
Geesh, "LIES?" He was just making a statement which happened to be wrong. I would have honestly thought the exact same thing if I'd paid attention to the writing on the box. There's a HUGE difference between being mistaken and trying to decieve; no need to be so aggressive.
Also, it's JAPAN guys. Technology capital of world. If you don't think 9 out of 10 people over there don't already have blue-tooth headsets, you're off your rocker.
Yes, the servers are back up after the scheduled downtime, and working fine.
Every vehicle, including the Warhawks, can carry a passenger. In a WH though, the passenger has no control or firing ability. They can, however, look in 460 degrees. I guess if you wanted a navigator or someone to point out where you're being attacked, that's useful...
If they put out Rival Schools, Brave Fencer Musashi, Bust a Groove, Tomba! 2, Ehrgeiz, and Silent Bomber, I would buy each without hesitation. And maybe Parappa, just for old-time's sake.
It's just that one-time cost though. I have Tivo over here, and paid around $100 for the box, and that was just because it was an older model (single tuner, smaller HDD). The series 3 is out now, and can record in HD, but it costs $300. The service is 12.95 a month, so over $150 a year. In that view, free over-the-air recording of HD quality video is amazing in my eyes, outside of buying the adapter to make it work. And if this ever does come stateside, I'll finally spring for a PSP, bec...
I'm happy with them. The maps really are huge, with changes in terrain and stuff enough that you can focus on just one or two areas and still have a large chunk un-explored. When I host my own games, I use a saved 3-map rotation of my faves: Destroyed Capital, Archipelago, and Badlands. I love the Capital level though; I could play the same map over and over for hours, because there's just sooo much to do there.
It also sucks that you can't gain ribbons for non-ranked. I was playing forever on my own game I made, just because it was the kind I knew I'd like. Trying to find the right game on Sony's is...difficult. There's not enough of a description in the game name; there should be a secondary screen like Resistance's, where you get more detail on the game set-up, and can back out if you'd like. I went and checked my stats and realized I'd had 6 officially recorded "quits" from popping ...
When everyone's ready, the clan's been started. Just send a message thru PSN to EZCheez.
Warhawk's a third-person shooter, not first-person. Same difference, I know.

I'm going waaaaay out on a limb and guessing that you guys didn't read the article ;-)
"The connector is smaller than the standard mini-usb plug, so you won't be able to use the same cable to charge your Sixaxis as you will the headset."
The game has 5 maps, which are scalable to the type of game you want to play. I'm sure there will be new maps as an add-on in the future though. And they've always been of the opinion (I think) that at least some of the PSN games would be offereings that are considered fully fledged, fleshed out games in their own right. The disc's capacity is a luxury and an option; not a mandate.
Yeah, we who bought the disc version have to suffer :-(. My EB Games usually doesn't get games till the day after the Tuesday "ship" date anyways, so it might be even longer for me (not till Wednesday maybe).
I believe it's going to cost $3,500.
