Seriously? It's freaking January. I was in the Beta as well and it was very good but let's wait until we play the finished product before bestowing GOTY, not to mention the other two hundred games that'll drop this year. All this hype can only backfire in the end because it will be impossible for the game to live up to it.
I have never nor will I ever pay MS for a damn theme. They nickel and dime gamers to death. I'm all for capitalism but if I bought the game then how about I get the theme for free. Is that too much to ask? I guess it is when dealing with MS. I complain about them as much as Apple yet I continue to play the hell out of my 360 and pay out the a$$ for my iPhones but I draw the line at theme charges.
I continue to have a soft spot for TR and actually enjoyed this latest outing. It would be much better in more capable hands but I found it entertaining enough to purchase.
Horrible news. There are way too many as it is but they'll go slowly away when Blizzard changes their leveling. They are overpowered as hell also but that's good thing for people who don't spend ALL their free time on WOW.
I like my RTS with a mouse and keyboard but I'll give it a rent and see how it plays. As for sales who knows? Maybe with HALO in the title a new generation will be introduced to the intellectual world of RTS.
I'm ready for it. I really enjoyed the first game and it had a lot for them to build on for the sequel. Repetitive or not, I played the hell out of it and loved the setting. If the next one takes place during the French Revolution then I am all for that as well. Variety is the key and there are tons of possibilities and directions for the game to take during that period of history. I see a maritime execution in my future.
Wrong! If Gears of War 3 is dropping in Fall 2010 then the 720 or whatever it'll be called will be out in Fall 2010. I don't see MS putting a new console on the market less than a year after their goose drops another golden egg. They'll be released in tandem IMO. Halo 4 should also be due (overdue according to some) around that time from Gearbox or whoever does it.
I can hardly wait for the DLC. I've been capped at 20 for quite some time with plenty more to do on the first (of 3) character I created. Too bad for achievements whores though with only 50 (instead of 250) per DLC unless that was a misprint.
Looks pretty good from the limited info we have to look over. I personally like the setting. I am sick to death of LA and NY within the video game realm. Moscow will be a nice departure. Bring on the gameplay videos.

Dominate is likely the wrong word. I think the 360 will more or less maintain its current position as far as the three consoles. The PS3 has several games on the way with the potential to sell some consoles and of course Blu ray will continue to help Sony sell it. I really don't see it happening that soon. It is selling too well for them to drop another console on the market. I only use mine 5-10 hours a month (thanks to Boom Blox) but my wife uses the Fit quite often and the kids love it so I'd purchase a new version next year if there was one but I don't see it happening. I feel that we'll see a new box from MS before anything from Nintendo or Sony.
I have and rarely use my PSP (or DS for that matter) but as you'd expect my iPhone goes everywhere with me and as such gets a lot of playing time when traveling or during downtime at the office/excavation sites. Now I agree that the PSP is better at gaming but I am not going to carry two portable devices around on me all the time for the purpose of gaming. I love most everything about Dead Space especially the atmosphere and wonderful surround sound. I don't see it as failing since it's a new IP that has sold over 1.2 million on 360 and PS3. EA doesn't either since a sequel is on the way. An early Summer release would have better served it as far as sales go. If you don't like this game then maybe it is a problem with you and not the game itself. Get it, kill the lights, fire up the surround and enjoy. Pretty simple formula when you break it do...

360 - 70% (had longer so multiplat games get bought for it due to friends preference as much as mine)
Wii - 15% (kids and wife mostly but I do like Boom Blox and Bowling)
PS3 - 10% (use almost daily for Blu ray tho) likely to increase soon with KZ2
Dreamcast - 5% (love NFL2K/1 and kids like Crazy Taxi and Rayman 2)
PS2 - hasn't been on in over a year
xbox - same as above
