I could argue that video games can be art and some should be considered as such. I could even say the movies Doom and House of the Dead are forms of art but I won't. The talent of the artist matters not unfortunately. Art requires aesthetic assessment and an emotional attachment. Many burgeoning "artful" games provide just that with great narratives, cinematic cutscenes, and complex characters. Video games are not nor ever will be genuine art but they are one form of art.
Haze was so freaking broken that you'd think it came from some no-name two man team developers with basement space leased from grandma. I am still dumbfounded as to how this POS got published. Sadly, I had high hopes for it too and it helped kill off an otherwise good team of game designers. Are any other games being developed with the Haze Engine?
This is one of the reasons I always buy multi-platform titles on the 360. PS3-only owners constantly get screwed and not in a warm, fuzzy way.

I had a PS3 die last Spring so I swapped it out at BB and so far so good with the new one. For the record my launch 360 and Halo version have not RROD'd yet but I practically keep them in a freezer. You could hang meat in my house on most days.
360 is better. Wait, no, the Ps3 is better. Uh.. well both are crap. I just can't decide. I played the demo today and was quite impressed with it. Good visuals, gameplay, and physics from explosions and bullet hits. I've already dropped my $5 at BB. Alma looks really pissed off too as opposed to just be slightly pissed off a couple years back.

Not much of a fan as you can see by my GTAIV gamerscore but if you play the hell out of it like many folks do then yeah you should be pissed. I'd be much more upset about Fallout 3 if I only owned a PS3.
Contradict much? So repetition is killing the overall score along with a lack of originality but on the other hand it's the best FPS ever. I can't wait until the scores start pouring in here. It will be something to behold from fanboys on both sides of the fence. I will be entertained for hours. :)
Instead of a better script we get a worse actress. It makes perfect sense if you watch movies with your sound turned off.

The article actually makes sense for what the author is trying to convey but the question is why does the PS3 need saving? It appears to be doing just fine, not as good as Sony expected but good enough IMO. Horrible news for certain regardless of your feeling about Sony. The economy has always been cyclic. Nearly every business is hurting now (Obama to the rescue :). The game is very good and I could care less if it's multiplat but if we look at Bioshock then the numbers aren't that great on the PS3 when compared to the 360 (about 2.3 million to 300K). Granted they are very different games but still not very promising when porting costs and advertising are taken into account.
