Microsoft wants nothing to do with PC gaming. They've made that plainly clear to PC gamers due to them not wanting Xbox games on PC.

I'm happy with that as they are nothing but trouble when it comes to gaming.

The only tie to MS is the Windows OS and if DirectX was compatible on another OS i would switch immediately like alot of others too.

So being on Xbox and PC deems the game non-exclusive as they are 2 different platforms as MS do...

Cool. Other gamers get to play it as well as PC gamers :)

Can't wait for this in September :)

Its a PC game. How about you stick to your Killzones and CoD games and leave some PC games to the PC gamers :)

You nicked everything else i.e. Call of Duty, Halo before MS bought Bungie etc

I shall be supporting this game as soon as it's available to buy/preorder.

And where do zombies come into it? Its a city building strategy survival game. Nothing to do with zombies.

I guess it's a bit like Settlers or maybe Age of...

Is that meant to be impressive or something?

I've played both those games and i'm predominantly a PC gamer hehe.
Which means I also have a console....shock horror! :P

LOL all this "fighting" over a stick of RAM. Who gives a fuck?

When you're playing CoD do you think, "Oh I wonder if my CoD is using more RAM than the other consoles?"

Get a grip people.

If the games work that's all that matters, right?

Both sides of the fanboys are bad as each other. You realise you're arguing over a piece of circuit board and companies that couldn't give 2 shits about you...

Apart from most of the indie games coming to PS4 are on or will be on PC in the near future.

I definitely know Don't Starve is on PC now as I have it on steam and it was a PC exclusive from Klei like their new game, Incognita.

Mercenary Kings is on steam Early Access atm as well.

So there is some parallels between PC indies and console indies. As they are one and the same.

Desura and steam embraced the indie revolution wa...

I've supported 22 games and counting on kickstarter so far so I'm all set up to 2015 for games on PC :P

One of the first kickstarters I backed was FTL and it was a great success and a great game. Today Shadowrun Returns launched on steam from a very successful kickstarter. Its a very slick cyberpunk RPG with turn based combat.

I hope all the games I've backed so far are successful and push the developer community to make more original and fun game...

Hardly. This should have been in since Xbox360.

Everyone is forgetting what they tried to pull with X180?

MS don't have any indies locked down. I doubt that will change cos they allowed a bit of freedom for indie devs. Alot of the indies will still be exclusive to PS4 or PC.

This is only good news because MS policies were all bad for indies.

If you wanna get in bed with devil that's your choice. It's only gonna en...

I think it's pretty sad myself. It's just a game after all.

I bet they wouldn't say those things face to face with the developer. Damn internet cowards.

I'd find out who it was and permanently ban them from the game(s). There is no excuse for death threats.

Have any of you see what EA charge on their Origin store for PC games?

Most new or pre released games are £40-45 digital downloads.

This is why I don't buy EA games anymore. I won't be getting Titanfall or Dragon Age 3. I've totally boycotted them.

It seems a few other publishers are following suit as well. Sega are charging £40 for Rome II and Company of Heroes 2.
PC retail games are actually cheaper than their ...

The last time publishers and console manufacturers got too greedy we had a crash.

I can't wait for that day to come again.

Companies like EA, Activision and Microsoft need to be brought down a peg or 2 so they know what the real world looks like instead of looking down at us all from atop of their money mountains.

We definitely need a clean slate to remove all this DLC/microtransaction BS.

Another video games crash is def...

And #3 worldwide. USA isn't the biggest market in the world, Europe is. It has been for years.

I just wonder what month MS will drop total support for X360 like they did with Xbox.

I say January right after the X180 is launched :)

They can't really hate on PC gaming anymore though as that's what the new consoles are. They might as well bitch to themselves in a mirror.

With the x86 architecture, AMD graphics card and cpu it's the closest thing to a dektop PC the consoles have ever been hehe.

It's like buying a store bought PC (console) compared to someone who built his own PC (gaming PC).

"how long do they intend to keep up that kind of commitment?"
The answer to that is they won't.

MS only had a few true xbox exclusives i.e. Gears, Forza, Halo. The rest were timed exclusive DLCs.

What MS should have done with the billions they have is create or buy dev companies for 1st Party titles but instead they put it all into server farms for the "cloud" power.

This is where Sony has the advantage over MS...

If MS can't "win" with a years head start and a cheaper price they have no chance this next generation with a more expensive price and no head start.

A lot of people are watching their pennies this time and price will have a massive effect on what new console they buy.

I know MS and a lot of these big corporations seems to be recession proof but their customers are not and are tightening their belts with anything to do with money.

I wouldn't be too sure about the UK.

The UK was a massive Sony supporter until they released a year or so later in EU and way more expensive than X360.
So people bought the cheaper Xbox and all their friends did too.

This time around Sony has the cheaper console and are launching at similar time to the Xbox.

We are also still in a recession here like most of the world despite what the idiot politicians tell us and alot of people a...

It's not Bethesda but their parent company, Zenimax Online Studios that is developing ESO.

lol "the cause of excessive DLC, micro transactions and all manner of anti-consumer practices" is pure greed by publishers and developers. It has nothing to do with used games or anything else.

Until publishers stop trying to get all the cake and eat it too this will continue.

It's up to the consumer to stop buying all the DLC crap that publishers throw at us and demand substantial DLC that improves and expands the game after release.

They'll be probably porting the PC version over to the PS4 then X180.

Xbox won't be the leading platform this time around it will more than likely be PC or PS4. PC is leading platform for Watch Dogs.

I have a lot of respect for ND but they've been solely working on PS2/3 architecture for the past 10+ years and not PC architecture so they'll have a learning curve just like most console devs this gen.

CDPR are PC devs and know their way around PC systems, ND do not. The console devs will have to learn PC architecture all over again.

Gonna be a great time for PC gaming now consoles are using x86 architecture :)
