Ugh I can't be arsed to buy these yearly updates from Assassins Creed and Batman.
It's bad enough with CoD and Battlefield every year.
AC3 and Batman Arkham City weren't that good to begin with. I much preferred Arkham Asylum.
No developer is going to change the industry if they are attached to a publisher. All the publisher is bothered about is making lots and lots of money.
So innovation and "changing the industry" goes out the window.
I can see an indie developer changing parts of the industry for the better but they don't have the resources to make a massive impact on the games industry.

MS only had the upper hand in UK because Sony launched the PS3 over a year later.
Before that with PS1 and PS2 UK was a Sony supporter. People bought the cheaper console (Xbox360) and all their friends bought it too so stuck with it.
This time it's reversed. Sony has the cheaper console and launches at a similar time to Xbone.
MS has no advantage this time around and won't do as well as last time in any territory.

Why would PC gamers pirate the game?? It won't work on their PCs only on consoles.

Rockstar want everyone to enjoy the game on the same day? Maybe they should have let the retailers ship the game when they wanted then.
I'll be lucky to get the game by Wednesday as Rockstar have made the retailers in the UK sign an agreement to not ship the game till Monday.

Rockstar have no right to ban anyone for streaming. It is complete corporate abuse and Rockstar should be punished for censoring their customers choice to stream a game they bought not the customer.
If they want to punish someone, punish the retailer that sold the game early in the first place. They wouldn't be the pirated version doing the rounds now if they retailers hadn...

Piracy is a non issue. I bet most PC gamers just pirate the games to test them out on the PC as we don't get demos anymore and then buy them when they know it works properly on their system.
Demos were extremely important for PC gamers but now demos are just used as a marketing tool by publishers.

If this was the pirated version and he leaked footage I can understand the outrage from some people but it's not it's from a legit version. He has the right to play the game and stream the game however he likes.

The PC has never had any of the Final Fantasy's at launch and we don't have one single Kingdom Hearts.
They are console games and I'm fine with that.
The only FF we have is the MMOs (FFXI and XIV) and that's as it should be.

I think he means the first GTA as in the 2d top down version not GTA3 the 3d version.
GTA1 was a DOS game on PC first. It was then ported to PS1 and Windows PC.
You wouldn't have a GTA game if it hadn't done well on PC first though.

I am a PC gamer but I'm having to buy GTA5 for my PS3 instead.
It's the only way to play it in a reasonable time frame before everything is leaked about it as Rockstar are taking their sweet ass time announcing the PC version as usual :)
I won't be buying the PC version when it comes out now though. They got my money. Not spending another penny on the game if Rockstar can't be arsed.

I'd advise any Xbone or PS4 owner to keep their boxes for a few weeks till you know the console isn't going to overheat while playing games :)

Next Gen just means the next generation of consoles, nothing to do with graphics or how good a game is.

Actually you can keep call of duty. Same old shit each year anyway bit like most EA titles.
I guess you don't know many PC games do you? We have some great PC games each year but they just don't have the marketing of the "AAA" titles from the big publishers so none of the console fanboys know they exist.

Isn't that up to the developers and publishers to create innovative and exciting games rather than the yearly boring sequels we get now?
Until that changes consoles games aren't going to be any different than the last gen apart from better graphics.
It's on you, EA and the rest of the money hungry publishers to actually take some risks for once.
