Direct X 11 has been on PC for years but most of it's techniques have hardly been utilised because the console ports were DX9.
Most devs are just lazy and will not put any effort into any games they don't need to do. Look at the PS3 games this gen. The 3rd party devs couldn't be arsed to learn it's architecture so it got piss poor ports from the inferior xbo...

LOL 2 of those games are on PC, Halo and Gears so they aren't exclusive.
We have Dark Souls so that's close enough to Demons Souls. The PC is the primary platform for Dark Souls 2.
The rest are from first party developers for the relevant companies.
You do realise Call of Duty was a PC exclusive and Halo was going to be a PC exclusive till MS bought off Bungie.
There is many more PC exclusives...
And console gamers shouldn't either as they can't play all exclusives on PC :)
Hey it's true Crytek has always been a mediocre developer no matter what platform they are developing for.
All they are famous for is their arrogant CEO and pretty graphics.
Don't expect much from Ryse as it's changed direction quite a few times. Wasn't it meant to be a kinect game for current gen console?
Now its a next gen game without kinect but with added QTEs.

And that's a couple of months that Sony have to sell PS4s to those countries which MS aren't launching in.
This isn't 2005 scenario. Xbox and PS4 are launching at similar times not a year apart so every country matters for the uptake of each console.
MS don't have that luxury of a years head start this time and it will be interesting to see how both companies do with the pressure of competition.

Its quite funny that the Xbox180 isn't launching till 2014 in 2 of the AAA games developers countries at their E3 conference.
The developers involved are DICE (Battlefield 4) and CD Project Red (The Witcher 3), Sweden and Poland respectively.
What the hell happened to MS? They always used to be so arrogant in their abilities but now we see them crumble under pressure.

The only reason the Xbox360 did well in the UK was because it was out a year+ before the PS3 at a cheaper price.
The UK was a Playstation dominant country before that with the PS1 and 2.
The UK will support the PS4 this time around especially since the double dip recession has everyone watching what they spend their money on. £80 difference is a lot of money to most people in the UK atm.

Only 13 out of the 21 countries they announced at E3 will be getting the Xbox180 in November.
Sounds like MS are struggling to manufacture enough consoles in time for release.
This screams of unpreparedness and rushing the product out in time for November no matter what the cost.
When Rockstar can be bothered to make a proper PC port it might sell well.
And retail sales for PC is a shit way to gauge how well it sold as most sales are digital now which isn't recorded.
Go ask Valve how many copies were sold on steam then you might get some proper sales figures instead of vgchartz lol
Hey if you want to download a game that takes up to a day on an average connection (5mbit) go ahead but I don't think most people will have the bandwidth or the patience if consoles go digital only.
Companies can only push digital so far then the ISP limitations come into effect. There is still alot of countries where they have a GB cap and have to pay extra if they go over that cap.

Indie games won't be too bad but those "AAA" games will be a right pain to download if allowed to. I guess MS didn't think about the limitations of the ISPs :P

You just watch what happens after the 1st year. MS will reduce the amount of games for the Xbox180 just like they did with Xbox360.
They just can't compete with Sony's worldwide studios. MS never invested into their own studios like Sony has. They'd rather pay for timed exclusivity 3rd party DLC for the short term advantage just to piss the other side off.
The PC platform is so underestimated by console gamers and developers alike.
It's pretty sad they don't see the potential in the PC market and the games that it can produce.

Consoles have been stealing PC exclusives for years to the point PC gamers hardly have any exclusives left now.

I don't want another QTE type games. It was bad enough when they thought it was a good idea to add QTE to Tomb Raider and a few other games but I can't bare the thought of playing a game that has exclusively QTEs.
Sony advertisied the PS4 as a gaming console first and foremost. That's what it does best. No one knows what else it can do really as that wasn't their primary goal.
Its the complete opposite of Microsoft as they advertised their GAMES console as a jack of all trades with TV and skype at the forefront of their goals.
They both have video sharing/streaming, both play games, both have internet access and "cloud" capabilities.

A particular control scheme and an upload system does not make it exclusive.
Minecraft has been out on PC for years. You can't spin Minecraft as exclusive or i'll spin Halo and Gears of War as exclusives titles on PC as they used 1080p HD graphics and mouse and keyboard.
Btw twitch broadcasting is on PC too :) Anyone can use recording software and record playing a game you don't need a cheapass console to do that.
Damn PS4 nicking most of the PC exclusive indies :P
