I think Heavenly Sword has a lot of potential and the wait is going to be hard for some.
That is part of why I think Microsoft had a better E3 showing. It seems like most of the games Sony showed either had no release date or were reported as 2010 releases. Microsoft showed more games that will be available this year.

Just because the 360 came out before the PS3 doesn't mean that it has weaker tech. In fact, in some very important areas related to memory architecture and GPU design it is actually a more efficient and powerful machine.

That GT game on PSP does look really good for sure. But that doesn't mean that GT5 will beat Forza 3.
Forza 3 already looks better than GT5 Prologue, so they better make some improvements to the graphics or Forza 3 will remain the better looking game.

Forza has already basically equaled Gran Turismo. Go to any car/racing fan site and you will see that people are kind of split as to which racing sim they like. Some prefer what Forza offers and some prefer GT. They both have strengths the other doesn't have.
With Forza 3 they have made so many improvements it is likely to win over a whole bunch of new fans.

Forza 3 not only looks a lot better than Forza 2, but it also looks as good or better than GT5.
If you look at actually gameplay from both games (not prettied up trailers) it is easy to see that Forza 3 at the least beats Gran Turismo Prologue.

The lighting is every bit as impressive as in GT5. They both have HDR real-time light and shadows, anybody that says there is a difference in lighting doesn't know what they are talking about.

Sure, keep telling yourself that. Alan Wake is a dynamic open world game with a strong focus on narrative. It just also happens to have some very polished action mechanics as well. It is similar to Heavy Rain in some ways, but different in other ways. You definitely have more control over the action in Alan Wake.
They are both going to be good games.

Chubear, I don't know why you had to make your comment into something fanboyish. Heavy Rain looks fresh and PS3 owners should be excited, but don't act like there aren't innovative games on the 360. Alan Wake looks just as good and has me just as excited. We need more good storytelling in games in my opinion, and I am just happy that we are getting more of it on all sides.

The difference is, most of us are honest enough to say that they both look very close. It's mostly the PS3 fanboys saying ridiculous things like "GT5 blows Forza 3 away", when it's plain as day that it doesn't.
I know. I was actually pretty shocked the first time I played Gran Turismo 5 Prologue because it looked so much worse than the way it looked in screenshots.
From the screenshots and videos Forza 3 looks sharper and more detailed. GT5 has equally great car models, but the backgrounds don't look as good.
Yes, Killzone 2 looks somewhat better than Halo 3, but Halo 3 is more fun.

I can't wait for Halo ODST. For how good Halo is and how successful it is, we haven't really got that many Halo games. We have usually had to wait several years between entries. Since 2001 we have only had 3 full Halo releases. Halo Wars is a cool game that is set in the Halo universe, but it plays nothing like the other Halos. Halo ODST is going to be quite different as well. I can't wait.
