But it isn't the same old crap and you know it. Left 4 Dead 2 is adding everything you would expect for a sequel. One year was a surprisingly quick turn around, but I am ready for it.

I bought Left 4 Dead and I never expected to get a bunch of free stuff. I bought it for what was there on offer and it was worth every penny. Anything else would just be a bonus.

Oh come on. What a bunch of BS. Everyone knows that most of the PS3 fanboys on this site making a big stink about this are not doing it because they are PC gamers. They are doing it because they see it as an opportunity to take a little wind out of the 360's sails. Plain and simple. You guys have proven what you are about over and over and over. You think anyone is really going to buy that you are just sincere gamers worried about Valve's business practices?

Oh and anybody ...

I bought the first one and have put a ton of hours into it and the enjoyment I have got from the game has been well worth the money I spent on it. And you know what, I'm ready for more. All the features of the second one are just awesome and I can't wait to play it.

In general, I just really hate the type of people that do boycotts. I have never taken part in a boycott because the vast majority of the time the companies or artists targeted by the boycotts didn't deserve it. I...

True. But it seems all car games tend to have noticeable jaggies. When I played Gran Tursimo 5 Prologue I was disappointed by how many jaggies I could see. 60 FPS though, is awesome and for a car game makes a big difference.

Forza 3 sounds really good in any case.

They can practically go anywhere with the story and that is part of what is so cool about the Assassin's Creed games.

The first game was a little repetitive but it was still one of the best games I have ever played. Most games are very repetitive anyway. Think about how repetitive a game like Killzone 2 and Gears of War 2 are. You just shoot wave after wave of enemies and advance forward. Sure there are a few different scenarios like where you use the mech in Killzone 2 or ri...

Personally I loved the plot of the first game and the ending was cool and very cryptic.

I don't understand this attitude a lot of people have in which a game has to have perfect closure for it to be satisfying. I don't need everything to be explained to me and every possible question to be answered.

Anyway, Assassin's Creed was a brilliant game and the sequel is one of my top 5 most anticipated games. Ubisoft Montreal is one of the best game studios on the planet...

Splinter Cell Conviction, Mass Effect 2, Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Bioshock 2, Alan Wake, God of War 3, Left4Dead 2, Halo ODST...man, the next year is loaded with good games.

Wow, trying to compare Demons Souls to Mass Effect 2. You're so funny.

I think you just like it cause it has Demon in the name. You obviously have some fixation on demons.

Sorry to burst your demon bubble, but Demon Souls is not anywhere near the quality level of Mass Effect 2.

Sure, whatever guys. You enjoy that PS3 lineup. I know I will be enjoying Uncharted 2 as well.

The thing is though:

Splinter Cell Conviction, Left4Dead 2, Halo ODST, Forza 3 >>>>>>Unchar ted 2, MAG, Ratchet & Clank.

Both consoles also have a handful of more average looking games, but those are the big ones. Try to tell me the PS3 lineup is so much better. It's not. In fact, many people will prefer the 360 lineup (like I do). <...

Get real. Most of these journalists are far, far more impartial than all the ridiculous PS3 fanboys on this site.

Spin it PS3 fanboys, spin it.

You can hate on the 360 all you want, but it is a great console with some of the best games and you are only hurting yourself. I'll just enjoy both consoles, because they both have something to offer. I'm not going to stoop to your level and start hating on Sony just because I think much of their fanbase are morons.

Why post those shots? It only shows that Uncharted looks very comparable to Alan Wake. Neither shows a clear advantage over the other.

6138d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

I own Uncharted and Killzone 2, which are both awesome games, but their graphics are hugely exaggerated by PS3 fans. Alan Wake looks better than both of them.

Think about it, does it make any sense for him to say this when EA multiplatform games are still looking better on the 360?

I mean, it just sounds silly to say the PS3 has more performance when the games you're making for that platform don't even look as good as the supposedly tapped out console's versions.

The other thing that doesn't fit here is that Volition said something similar, yet Red Faction looks and performs better on the 360.

Also, let's just...

Well for me personally Assassin's Creed 2 is one of my most anticipated games and so it did overshadow some other games.

Edit: Thanks Really Duh, I hadn't seen that video. It was good. Shane Kim is such a cool guy.

It was interesting that he said "well, we didn't put every Microsoft Game Studios game that's coming out this year on stage". Hmm...I wonder what else they have to show.

6138d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Of course. If anyone ever says anything negative about the PS3 or positive about the 360 it is only because they are biased. I mean, they couldn't possibly just be gamers who own both consoles, like myself, who genuinely think Microsoft had a better showing.

It's ok, we already know how you guys think.

Just be happy Sony did have a good showing and we PS3 owners have a lot of good stuff to look forward to.

Correction --"what every PS3 fanboy is thinking, because it isn't on their precious console".

There, fixed it for you.

I agree with this. Microsoft had the best press conference, followed not too far behind by Sony, with Nintendo in a distant third. This is the consensus among the majority of the gaming press.

I find it funny that it is the most diehard Sony fanboys on this site that can't live with the fact that other people disagree with them. And then they have the audacity to call these journalists "fanboys". The truth is, most people among the major gaming news outlets are a lo...

@TruthBtold

You make some very good points, but you should know that your comment came off as somewhat fanboyish to me as well. You said Aaron is "finally speaking like the PR guy we want in the gaming industry" and I don't agree with that "finally" part at all. I've read most of the comments by Greenberg that have gotten PS3 fanboys up in arms and they were nearly always very normal kinds of comments for a person in his position to make.

So, by...

They both have some great titles guys. On PS3 I'm going to get Uncharted 2 (sequel to one of my favorite games) and GoW3. On the 360 I plan on getting Splinter Cell Conviction, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Forza 3 and probably Left4Dead 2. As you can see there are more upcoming titles on the 360 that interest me, but your mileage may vary and I totally respect that.

The only thing that gets my goat is that a lot of PS3 fans on this site don't give Microsoft any credit at all and ...
