3rd party doesn't always mean it is going to go multiplatform.

I seriously doubt Mass Effect will ever be available on the PS3. Gears of War will never be available on the PS3 either.

Besides, I own both consoles and I'm not going to wait a year just so I can play an inferior port on my PS3.

I'm not hating. I can't wait for the game.

Watching those videos you can't tell me the game doesn't look better than the first one. I was surprised.

I loved the first one. It seems a little early to bring out a new one, but heck I'm always up for some more zombie-killing action. This game is number 4 on my most wanted list.

Forza has always had phenomenal quality as well. Many people even prefer it over GT. But you know what, they are both good franchises and are the kings of the genre.

Forza 3 looks amazing and I think it will be better than GT in many ways.

Natal is on a whole different level. And if you don't see that you simply don't understand the technology.

6154d ago 0 agree3 disagreeView comment

Because we know that a lot of the tech that comprises Natal was being worked on by Microsoft long before the Wii ever came out. The voice recognition aspect, as just one example.

Blu-ray movies are nice, but Blu-ray isn't necessary this gen for games. Only a few games have even needed more than a 9GB DVD. For the few that have, like Blue Dragon, it hasn't been a problem at all.

Hell, ES4 Oblivion is larger than about 98% of the games available on the PS3, so I think it is pretty obvious that disc size isn't any kind of limiting factor at this point.

Next gen? Probably.

HDMI is not necessary for the passing of a 1080p signal. The HD-DVD drive for the Xbox 360 passes a 1080p signal through component and there have already been several 1080p games on the 360 that pass their full resolution perfectly fine through the component cables. The majority of 360s all have HDMI outputs anyway.

What you wrote is just complete nonsense.

I hope not. It looked like it needed some work.

What a biased list, Lloyd wonder. You mention inFamous but no Halo Wars when they both got similar reviews and Halo Wars sold well.

Not to mention that you failed to list Left4Dead 2, which is going to be an absolutely huge game this holiday.

If you can't even be honest why should anyone even pay attention to your silly stacked lists?

Edit: Halo3 MLG Pro, looks like we had the same thing in mind :)

My friends and I thought of this very thing. Same game, everything. And honestly that by itself would revolutionize gaming.

I think some people just don't understand how significant Natal is. It is the most revolutionary thing I have seen for gaming since...well, since I started gaming to be honest.

I think some kind of physical controller will always be used. This Natal technology just greatly expands the options and can be used in conjunction with a physical controller in nearly endless combinations.

@TheRealSpy02

So, so true.

Natal is so exciting and all PS3 fanboys can do is try to think of ways to downplay it.

6155d ago 4 agree2 disagreeView comment

Natal was impressive as hell and that is the only reason gamers of a certain persuasion are trying to downplay it.

Natal impressed me and my friends more than anything at E3. It is also creating a huge amount of buzz in the gaming press (of which this article is only one example).

Except, for all the talk of the PC market doing "good" it is still a fraction of the console market. Besides, the rivalry and direct competition is between the consoles, especially the HD consoles. This is the reason why most in the gaming press recognize the concept of 'console exclusive'.

The very fact that some of these console exclusives have been shown to be significant movers of consoles is proof enough of their importance in the battle for market share. Gears ...

You missed the point. I never said Microsoft hasn't shown off games that have 2010 release dates and have taken a long time to be released. What I said is that Microsoft showed off more big games that are coming out this year. Which is true.

Are ideas ever used to their full potential? Rarely.

The important thing is even after his ideas have been pared down to conform to time, money and technology constraints some really neat things still come to fruition. I loved Fable 2 as did many professional reviewers. Just look at the critical reception it received.

That is part of the reason Sony's showing was a bit of a let down for me. Microsoft showed more games that we're actually going to be playing soon, as in this year. Sony's showings were comprised of a lot of games that won't be coming out until 2010 or that don't have release dates at all.

How many significant games for the PS3 are we actually going to get to play this year? Uncharted 2 is the only big game on PS3 that I care about and plan on getting. Ratchet & Clank CIT...

Such a creative and talented man. I think he will do well in his new position. Milo was so cool, btw.

Oh, hell yeah, the potential of Natal for a game like this is huge.

Me and my friends keep talking about all the things we think could be done with the Natal technology. Hands down it was the most exciting part of E3.
