You're full of it, GWAVE. The current PS Eye cannot do a great many things that the Natal technology can do. Have you even read the article? Or any article on the topic? If you have, I don't know how you can sit there and try to pass off this nonsense that the two technologies do the same thing.
I'm not going to waste my time listing all the things Natal does that PS Eye cannot do at all, because it is all there for anybody to read for themselves.

No, people are merely pointing out that there is nothing that precludes Microsoft from implementing a wand IF it were useful. Doesn't mean that I agree that it is useful. I don't know yet. All I know is that Natal has a ton of potential that has excited a lot of developers and gamers alike.

Actually LIVE did change my gaming habits forever and was the single biggest thing to come along since I started playing games back on the NES. It was such a game changer, in fact, that Nintendo and Sony decided they needed to follow the same course.

So much of his argument made no sense. It won't be able to work with past released games and that makes it fail? Did anyone with a brain think that a new piece of technology as radical as this one would be able to work with previously released games? Forza 3 looks great and easily is comparable to Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Anybody that looks at things in even a remotely fair and impartial manner can see that they are both exceptional franchises, each with their own pluses and minuses.
Nobody seems to mind that MGS4 runs at a sub-HD resolution, not even 720p. We all love that game and it looks great.
But never miss out on the chance to criticize something on the 360, right guys?
Forza 3 will be 720p and running at a reported 60 FPS which will be more than the vast majority of games are doing.
And for the last time, GT5 Prologue does not run at 1080p. GT5 Prologue runs at 1280x1080, which is not 1080p. 1920x1080 is 1080p.
Maybe so, but you PS3 fanboys would claim Sony won even if they had a completely poor showing. That's how you guys are. It doesn't matter how good Microsoft does you will always try to downplay it and no matter what Sony shows you will always hype it to no end.
Sony had a really good showing. Nevertheless, for most people Microsoft's was more impressive on multiple levels.

First of all, whether the writer has a preference for the 360 or not is irrelevant. The cnet poll included votes from over 10,800 people from all over the world, the large majority of which thought Microsoft had the best showing.

Assassin's Creed was brilliant and anybody that says it was trash simply have no taste in games, in my opinion.
I loved Assassin's Creed and thought it was one of the most innovative games to come out this generation. It was a little repetitive if your idea was to approach it the way you approach most mindless action games, but Assassin's Creed was all about immersion, amazing environments, awesome combat, and a deep narrative anchored in historic facts.
