It's time Microsoft invests in some more studios so that it can effectively support both the 360 and the PC.
Right now, they try to give the 360 some full exclusives and it takes away from the PC. But if they start putting more resources towards the PC that means the 360 will probably suffer. I don't think they have enough studios to support both platforms properly.

That's true. Compare the sales of Alan Wake to Heavy Rain. These kinds of games can actually sell on the PS3. It's not even a big mainstream shooter and for it to do 1.5 to 2 million is very impressive. It's too bad Alan Wake didn't sell better, it is a great game in its own right.
Those are very, very respectable numbers for that kind of game.
In a way that is a double edged sword. On one hand it might make them wake up and realize they need to do whatever it takes to make the PS3 versions equal to the 360 versions. On the other hand it might just make 3rd party publishers start to ignore the PS3 since it isn't making them as much money.

Having no screen tearing, a stable frame rate, and decent anti-aliasing should be a developers first priority. Make everything work within the boundaries of whatever that leaves you. This really is the weirdest generation ever. The console that has the best looking exclusives is not the same console that has the better looking multi-platform games. That has never happened before that I can remember. In the past it was always the case that the most powerful console had the better looking exclusives AND multi-platform games.
It's just weird because games like Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Killzone 2 and GT5 prove that the PS3 is a very capable machine. ...

I hope something from The Last Guardian gets shown, even though I haven't heard anything about them showing it. Killzone 3 is being shown for sure though, and I can't wait. I hope they show at least a glimpse of a new area of the game.
