No, there were definitely quite a few PS3 fanboys that said it was mediocre. Fanboys like TheRealKiller, Obama and quite a few others said that it was way overrated and pretty mediocre.
I think he is just saying is that nothing has been taken away from him as a 360 owner. He can still play Mass Effect on the 360.
It was already in 720p and I am sure it will be 720p on the PS3 as well.
What I think would be cool, though, is if they could somehow implement MLAA (the new anti-aliasing technique). Imagine that, wouldn't that be awesome? The jaggies were the main thing that bothered me about the 360 version.
I still think we have several years before the next gen consoles are out. All of the players have reasons to extend this generation.
Even Nintendo. I know their sales have declined, but in general the Wii has been a big success for them and they will want to ride out that success as far as possible. They will tackle the problem of declining sales by implementing price cuts, bringing out new games, and possibly some new peripherals.

Anyway, I agree with you that Killzone 3 is going to be amazing and I am waiting for it as well, but I don't see how you can say Crysis 2 is not impressive.
Did you even see the EA press event where they showed multi-player gameplay or are you just judging off what you have seen before? I ask that because this new footage looked a lot better to me.

Nah, I think it will be like Bioshock. The first one was a timed exclusive and came to the PS3 a year later, but Bioshock 2 came out on the PS3 and 360 the same day.

Why are all the other reviews I have seen around 8.5 and this one a 4? That is a huge discrepancy.
Graphics a 6? The graphics in the demo were among the best I have ever seen in a multiplatform game.
There is hypocrisy on both sides.
Anyway, it was a console exclusive, but now it is also on the PS3 so it is no longer a 360 console exclusive. PS3 and 360 are mostly fighting for the same market. This is why console exclusives do matter. Not as much as full exclusives, but definitely more than multiplatform games that are also found on the competing console.
Everybody knows this instinctively and that is why so many people are celebrating this as a victor...
