First of all Bioshock 2 was far from "horrible". Furthermore, this one is being made by Irrational Games, the same studio that made the incredible first game.
Me too. Bioshock is still one of the best games I have played this generation. Bioshock Infinite will be a day 1 purchase.

Oh I know it's the truth. I own both consoles and I love both of them, but I can't stand fanatics that won't acknowledge that each console has some negatives and positives that the other doesn't have.

They said that, it's true. But then again the Ghostbuster developers also made big talk about how great it was to work on the PS3 and how great that version was going to look. And well, we all know how that turned out.
The point I am making is that developers sometimes say things in order to gain favor with certain segments of their fanbase, but it often turns out to be untrue.
Whatever the reason, it's disappointing to me. I was looking forward to playing it this holiday. It looks amazing.
