I love Killzone 2 and I know that Killzone 3 is going to end up an amazing looking game, but I have to agree with you, Soad, I wasn't too impressed with the multiplayer trailer. Something about it just looked off.
BTW, I really do like this new-old Cole a lot better. He looks better than the old Cole or the other new Cole. Plus, he looks close enough to the old Cole to give the game continuity.
Cole is a ginger. I think that makes him stand out as a game character, since most characters have brown or black hair.
Oh yeah, the older Resident Evil games back on the PS1 were awesome in their day. RE4 was also awesome on the PS2 and Gamecube.
Dead Space 2 looks even better than the first one. There are some awesome new abilities (like pinning a necromorph with its own arm...how cool is that?) and the graphics are way better. I also love that you can float freely in zero-g instead of just jumping from surface to surface. The new enemies like the puker and the little childlike pack necromorphs are awesome. It's one of my most anticipated games.
That's what I was going to say. Dead Space already took the survival horror crown in my opinion.

You are right, OSU_Gamer. Of course they are going to put a positive spin on things. They aren't going to say "damn, that was one of our best games and now it's going to be available on the PS3. That's a real kick to the nuts". Of course not.
I don't understand why people expect companies to behave in a way that is contrary to their interests. These spokespersons wouldn't be doing their job if they didn't do their best to make their plat...
Microsoft you are wrong, Mass Effect 1 is not an Xbox 360 exclusive. See, I'm not one of those people that has a problem with the term console exclusive because it has always been used in the gaming media and it makes sense, but Mass Effect 1 is also on the PC so it is not an "Xbox 360 exclusive".
Imagine if they could use MLAA and get rid of the jaggies the 360 version suffered from? That alone would make it look quite a bit better.
I wouldn't be so sure there won't be special content unique to the PS3 version. It's happened before. Besides, on their website it say something like "hours of bonus content". Now, that might simply mean the DLC that the 360 version has already got, or it might mean something else as well.
That's awesome because the relatively slow speed of throwing grenades was one of the few complaints I had about Killzone 2. I guess I am just too used to Uncharted 2 and Halo 3 where you can throw grenades really fast.
Resistance 2 does have incredible water.

I agree with you--well, not about the hot part--but I agree that I liked the redesigned Cole a lot better. He looked better. I was so annoyed the way everyone was complaining about it. Now we get a Cole that doesn't really look like the old one anyway, but he doesn't look as good as the previous redesign.

Resistance 3 was also announced. They showed a live action trailer of it. So, we will be getting Killzone 3 in early 2011 and probably Resistance 3 late 2011/early 2012.
