The 360 has by far the greatest year over year increase with a positive 119% growth. The PS3 has also had a great year with 76% year over year growth. The DS and PSP are down quite a lot.
Think about it, this is coming from 'PC Games Hardware' which obviously have the PC as their yardstick to measure against. Compared to the PC version it is noticeably inferior, but it isn't a bad looking game in its own right. It actually looks really impressive by console standards.

Halo Reach looks damn good and you know it, Nerox3. Same with Gears 3. Then again I am talking to an ignorant guy that thinks Red Dead Redemption looks better on the PS3.
Nerox3, are you crazy? Red Dead Redemption was way better on the 360. Just go read any of the comparisons. Crysis 2 isn't out yet and I bet it will run better on the 360.
Umm...where does it say the PS3 version runs better than the 360 version? For all we know it might run worse. There might be a reason they haven't even been showing the PS3 version.
It's disappointing to hear the 360 version looks that bad. But I am baffled by some of the comments suggesting the PS3 version over the 360 version.

That's just weird to me. What if some of the multiplatform games are better than some of the exclusives? Are you just going to buy the exclusives because they are exclusive?
There are definitely some exclusives on my list, but there are also a lot of multiplatform games like Deus Ex, Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, Rage, Castlevania and Enslaved.

Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Red Dead Redemption were all huge games that are as big as I could ever want a game to be and they all fit on a DVD.

When was 8 Days released? Why is Braid listed under the PS3 when it came out on the 360 first? Star Ocean is also on the 360.
Anyway, if you are going to include every mediocre exclusive on the PS3 then you need to list all the exclusives on the 360. There are tons of them. Games like Tenchu Z, Metro 2033, Sniper Ghost Warrior, Lost Odyssey, Kameo, Viva Pinata, Shadow Complex, Naval Assault, Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper, Supreme Commander 2, Lips, Risen, Tropico 3, ...
All I know is that I like the way he runs in this one better than in the first game. His running animation is better.
Nobody is skewing the data. It's just that we don't really have reliable worldwide sales numbers except from the console makers themselves which are only released every quarter I believe.
Nobody should be upset. All the consoles are doing just fine.
