I'll just add my voice to the consensus...yes, Left 4 Dead is amazing fun. I love it. It truly is one of the best multiplayer games ever made.
I'm 30 and you are entitled to your opinion, but I think it is a non-issue and that it is very juvenile to make such a big deal out of something so trivial.
Also, lets wait and see how the game sells on the respective platforms before we proclaim "the majority of people would rather play their games without the hassle or thought of having multiple disks". I don't think as many people care as you might believe.
I predict it will be about two or three discs on the 360 version. I might be wrong and it could end up 4, but I don't think so.
Anywheys...I really don't care if it is on more than one disc. It only means I will have to change the disc every couple days or weeks...oh no...the horror! Or I'll get it for the ps3. But either way I don't think it makes any difference. TBH, if the ps3 version has mandatory installations that will bother me more.

LOL, come on guys this site is faaaar slanted towards the ps3. The 360 gets attacked left and right and there are a lot fewer people being positive towards it. More pro-ps3 videos get passed than pro-360 videos. That is just the way this site swings.
I'm in the Killzone2 beta and it does look very nice...good lighting and effects...but I would say that GeOW2 is pretty close, just in a different way. They both look good.
The only reason you guys think those games look better is because you are ps3 fanboys. I either own or have played all of those games and no, none of them look better than Gears 2. He!l, even Gears 1 looks better than a couple of them. Heavenly Sword looking better than Gears 2? Puhleese! Ratchet and Clank? WTF, Banjo Kazooie looks as good as that, maybe even better since it has real time lighting. You guys overhype everything on the ps3, but for people like me who own all the consoles...
Whether it comes on one disc or several means nothing to me. I will decide which one to get based on which system it looks and performs better on, the controller, which version my friends buy so I can compare achievements, and stuff like that. I have never been bothered by games that have more than one disc. You have to change them so rarely that it doesn't even matter. They won't change the price. How much do you want to bet that they cost the same amount? The 360 version will probably look a little better anyway since the 360 is actually more powerful than the ps3. That is the truth that Sony wants to hide from everybody.
You mean the suck-axis? Seriously man, that feature sucks. It's next to worthless. The only reason I won't say completely worthless is because I still hold out hope that it will one day be implemented well. But so far it is basically crap. I hated trying to use it in Dark Sector to control the glaive and so many other games. When developers make us use it it is actually a disadvantage not an advantage.
No way! The 360 pad is better for almost every type of game, except fighters. The ps3 pad feels kind of cheap to be honest...and I can't even change my own batteries in it.
I have both and I like the 360 pad better for a lot of reasons. The overall shape and feel of the 360 pad is better and I like the position of the analogue sticks and bumper and trigger buttons. About the only thing I like better on the ps3 pad is the dpad, which works better for fighters. Other than that I like the 360 pad better.
That's how it seems to me. gamer.blorge is known for being somewhat against the 360 in general, at least some of their writers are. He did a fairly good job of trying to come off as impartial, but he was stretching too hard to make the ps3 come out on top and he left out a lot of important elements from his analysis. The slight difference in dead space in practice makes almost no difference. On the other hand the looseness/stiffness of the sticks does matter and the ps3 sticks are too loo...
There is a big difference between theory and practice. In practice the 360 pad is actually better for shooters. The movement and placement of the sticks is better and the triggers are way better than on the ps3 pad.

Hey, well you can make fun of it all you want but Banjo Kazooie is a fun game. I am enjoying it quite a lot. Gears 2 and Fable 2 are my favorites though.
The 360 has sold more than the ps3 this year in North America, which is the biggest region for video games. It is really close in Europe, even though we obviously don't have all the numbers. And it has been doing better in Japan, which almost nobody thought possible. The fact is, the 360 has sold much better than the original Xbox and has gained market share over the Playstation brand, while the PS3 has sold far less than half as well as the PS2 and has lost massive amounts of market share...
I've played both and they look about the same. The PC version can obviously support higher anti-aliasing but other than that they look pretty much the same. I was surprised how well the 360 version stacks up against the PC version.
