All consoles have something to offer. Just enjoy the one(s) that have the features and games that you want and don't worry about the rest.
I like the 360 and the PS3. The Wii hasn't quite caught my interest yet, but I have nothing against it.

People who only own one console can't seem to understand why such comparisons are valuable for those of us with more than one console.
From what I have seen they seem very objective. They tell it like it is.
Killzone 2 does destroy Gears of War 2 in terms of graphics, while many multiplatform games DO look somewhat better on the 360. Those are the facts. Anyone not lying to themselves knows these things to be true.
I have both consoles and I like to know which version of a game is better, so sites like these are performing a valuable service in my opinion.

Funny, I just got done playing the demo of this game. Decent. Not great, but ok.
Oh, Ninja Gaiden looks a bit better than this. Both feel empty and lifeless to me though. These worlds don't feel lived in. Generic enemies, with generic backdrops.
I guess the only reason to play games like Ninja Blade and Ninja Gaiden is for the action. But they could be so much more...
Action games like God of War understand the importance of atmosphere and narrat...

I've had a PS3 for quite some time, but I always leaned a little bit towards the 360. However, my 360 died and Killzone 2 single-handedly made me a believer.

Gears 2 is pretty damn awesome and I wouldn't just assume Killzone 2 is going to be the best ever before we learn more about it and, more importantly, actually play through it ourselves.
I have no doubt that it is going to be great and I can't wait for it, but I am just saying 'let's not get ahead of ourselves'.
They have been shown to be in the right ballpark most of the time. So...until we have better numbers I think it is interesting to talk about these.
Does anybody want to make a bet against me that these numbers will end up being roughly accurate? Does anyone doubt that?

This isn't true in the slightest. It has been reported over and over that the 360 sells more software than any other console.

I own both consoles and there is no doubt that Xbox LIVE is better. I know that hurts PS3 fanboy's feelings, but its the truth and I think Microsoft should get the kudos it deserves for what it has accomplished in this regard.
The PS3 has a higher percentage of highly rated games, the 360 has the overall highest number of good games. They both excel in certain ways.
The more important point, though, is that nobody buys all the games--or even all the "good games"--for a console. The PS3 and 360 both have plenty enough good games to warrant a purchase.
It is really going to come down to the particular games you like. If you like games like Uncharted, Killzone 2, MGS4, or Littl...
