Agreed. I was keeping my PS3 anyway since I have tons of games still needing to be played. And the more I thought about it, the more I realized I never (NEVER) use my PS3 to play MP3s. I have a stereo for listening to music. And the DLNA thing was always so slow or unreliable for me that I started just putting everything on an SD card and copying it over that way.

Go read the comments for the FAQ on the PlayStation Blog (US or EU, both are pissed off). It's filled with tons of people all saying they're cancelling or have already cancelled.

Yep. I'm not a fan of multi-player games and I could care less if Titanfall ever comes to PS4. The only two must-haves are Infamous and The Order. Can't wait.

I watched the UI demo video and whether it's legit or not, it's horrible. The dude has highlighted the movie Pacific Rim. All he had to do was push a button and it would play. But for some reason he feels the need to say "XBOX, play Pacific Rim." How hard is it to push the stupid button?!
And then throughout the rest of the demo it's "Xbox, open internet explorer" "Xbox, answer" "Xbox, hang up" "Xbox, play Titanfall.." ...
All we have is bad news and rumors without any information from Microsoft. Where have I seen this before?
Was it before the reveal when all the bad rumors came out saying the XB1 was going to be always online? MS was silent on that one and it turned out to be sorta true.
Then there were all the bad rumors concerning used games before E3 and MS was again silent before revealing that indeed, they were all true. In fact, every bad thing you could think up, MS was doing.

Maybe Sony is trying to hide something, but what they're hiding is a surprise feature they haven't mentioned yet? They are only giving review units to trusted reviewers who they know will not leak anything or break an NDA. Sessler and Polygon's less than favorable view of PlayStation put both of them as suspect and not trust worthy.
And it's not just Kinect "watching" you, but it's about supporting a company that gave the NSA the keys to the encryption for their users' email. How am I ever supposed to trust Microsoft with my privacy?

If the early speculation is right then the PS4 is going to outsell the XB1 because Sony has been manufacturing them for months. And then let's see how things go once it's for sale in Japan.

I don't see the problem with the day one patch. The hardware has been in production for months while they continue to work on the software. By having the option for a day one patch, the hardware can be manufactured in large numbers even if not everything is ready. This allows for a large number of units to hit the channel by Nov. 15 and then a small update will bring in all the other features. You can still pop a game in on day one and play with no problems
I was almost a little disappointed that it took this long to suggest t. I thought it was SOP that every Sony was going to make an announcement it was "their last chance" to announce The Last Guardian.
What about a PS4 price cut?
I want my phone to be a phone and my handheld for gaming. While there are some fun games for phones, I don't consider it gaming.
That said, I realize that people who like video games as a hobby and not a time waster are in the minority and so therefore it will probably happen. But I'll go kicking and screaming the whole way.
One more device I have that will play Netflix. My TV, PS3, PS Vita, Nook Color, iPod, 3DS, Wii.... I was worried I wouldn't have any options to watch.
