You know the saying: you know the boat is sinking when the rats jump ship?
Well, the big rat (DirecTV) jumped years ago.

@whitefeather
I feel the exact opposite. ^_^;
Say what you will about preference, but at least Nintendos conference raps up in an hour instead of at least 3.... @_@
And unlike nearly everyone else, Nintendo also has constant new content throughout the rest of the show.
I am really looking forward to Nintendos conference. Last years was pretty lame, and for the last several they seem to have alternating good/bad conferences yearly.
I also expect that, while Sony will have more than 20 new game experiences overall, Nintendo will have more 20 such experiences for wiiu and 3ds separately. (Although I do think some crossover with each other and other consoles is to be expected)
This e3 is setting up to be the best one in a while...
I think we can safely assume that many if not most of the "more than 20 new gaming experiences" to be 1st and 3rd party games we already know about, as well as multiplatform experiences.
And I'm sure Microsoft will have SOMETHING interesting....though I wouldn't expect much.
All anyone else has to do is show up. >_<;
Nope.
MK
Disgaea
Ninja gaiden
MVsC
Mod nation racers
The two handhelds are nearly even in regards to remakes and ports.
Paper mario and animal crossing have been in development longer than nsmb2, which is coming out before they are.
These games were announced nearly a year before the system launched, and have yet to be given real concrete product details. So yeah, it has been "ages". ^_^;
SotC meets DS?
...you mean Monster Hunter?
@_@;
Except, besides splinter cell, they have all been 100% confirmed before this list got out.
Rayman? Screw that, that's a lot of Ubisoft. @_@
I have a strange feeling that it will be a wiiu game.
Maybe not an exclusive, but until we hear more about the other next gen consoles the wiiu and pc are the best bets.
And I certainly hope animal crossing and fire emblem will be out before years end as well.
I meant for 2012, but forgot to specify in my previous comment.
I think it was, but my memory is pretty awful...^_^;
That is the exact OPPOSITE of the majority of the gaming presses reaction every year. You have your realities backward.
But of course, this is n4g....^_^;
@mysword
Unless 3ds gets CoD as well.
Nintendo has already stated that western 3rd parties are poised to reveal their work at e3, and CoD is the most influential 3rd party game out there. And their online game has improved and is expected to be even stronger after e3 announcements.
And if you really think that CoD on a cheaper platform with a larger install base will be outsold by CoD on a more expensive system with fewer games then... well, whatever.
Yep. Although Luigis mansion isn't confirmed yet. (Is it?)
... are you joking or serious? O.o;
Based on your manor of phrasing, I can't tell.
The wiiu will be more powerful than the ps3. There will be a lot of software announced for it and the 3ds, each potentially having more than 20 games detailed.These are assumptions based on what I have read.
Furthermore, they come from named sources like Nintendo, ea and gearbox, as well as leading journalists, and not just "anonymous developers."
Edit: <...
@demonsouls
Lets see if you stillthink that once Sony unveils its next console and its weaker than the wiiu.(if we believe all the recent rumors, than that will absolutely e the case,)
Remember, Sony has publicly stated that there will not be a massive power leap for the next PlayStation.
The e3 with the wii(I forget which one) and 2010 are considers by many to be "victories" for Nintendo that I can remember.
Nah... retros vibe wouldn't mesh with zelda in my opinion.
In fact, zelda feels like one of the few Nintendo games that wouldn't make sense to hand over to retro.
