Is this on the cable channel or on their website?
To be honest, I kind of agree with you.
Xbox360 for me (as a good game) had CoD2, with Perfect Dark being total crap.
The wii had a GC port as its biggest game.
And while I didn't get a ps3 at launch, I remember reading an egm article about the ps3s woes and there wasstop employee talking about how costumers were returning resistance in droves.
Launches can be great, but they are more often not so.
Metroid would also be perfect for showing off the wiiu tablets potential functions and capabilities.
I think they are trying to make the platform enticing to 3rd parties, and a crapload of 1st party software wouldn't help much in this regard.
However, they also know they need to drive hardware sales themselves for the 3rd party software to sell, so an attractive, but not necessarily strong, 1st party lineup will need to be present. I think they will have this covered with a packaged in game, pikmin 3, and most importantly for sales, new super mario brothers.
Games that sell over a long period of time.
Story about how Sony (ps3+Vita)will dominate e3= "hell yeah it will!"+loads of comments in minutes+high degree rating.
Story about how one of Nintendos systems will have a great e3(in the same Q&A he alludes the same for the wiiu)= *cricket noises*
^_^;
225.
While 250~300 feels like the most logical assumption, I think after recent comments from Nintendo and how surprising the 250$ price point of the vita was, the setup is incredibly similar to last years e3 vita re unveil.
I really do think we are going to be plenty surprised.
Didn't red orchestra 2 just come out a couple of months ago?
And yes, I agree that modern shooters saturate the market.
WWII is not overplayed at all, considering that so many theatres have been completely untouched.
It was called a world war for a reason... Normandy and Berlin weren't the only theaters.
China, Spain, Italy, the middle east...
So much untapped potential just begging for a video game adaptation.
The fact that Microsoft is just gliding is why I think they really need a great big showing, as otherwise they are continuing to doom themselves to obscurity.
Nintendo is the most stable and least in need of a huge push from a purely functional perspective, however they are always the target of media hyperbole and overly stated praise/criticism and will absolutely need a good showing to keep their flip flopping image over towards super happy funtime.
Sony als...
The article is about an unannounced square enix game, and therefore it could actually be on any system: hence, the xbox/wiiu/ps3 tags.
The writer is just focusing on his own speculation.
^_^
" Well according to the rumour, Nintendo is planning on packing in a small device you could carry upon your person, to take part in streetpass on behalf of your new shiny Wii U console. The date you collect on your travels would then automatically upload to your console once you get home." ~from the article.
In short, no.
Atelier and TWEwY are the only games on this list even slightly resembling your description, and even they are pretty far off.
I know you're just messing, but I thought I'd just point out anyway that Nintendo did digital distribution on the snes.
^_^
No, it would be a small device that picks up wiiu info from other owners of the wiiu also carrying the device, and then you put it near the tablet controller when you get home and transfer the data to the wiiu.
Either an animate giant sock, or a left hand glove....
.....^__^
I hope it turns out like steam: games selling for nearly the same (but slightly cheaper) as physical to keep retailers happy, and constant price reduction sales to make downloading worthwhile and cost effective.
...I thought the psp was the first...
I thought iwata said last year that the loss on 3ds systems would end this current fiscal year.
They should start to be profitable soon if this is true.
I see. Thanks. ^.^
