I don't get this usb stuff, but I would imagine that 2.0 is more widespread and affordable. Why put money and focus on something few will utilize?
I don't see any problem with an outdated usb. After all, it suited people just fine before now.
I wouldn't say "dead"...
More like "extended stasis."
Something that isn't going to change soon or quickly.
CC PRO and all wii controllers are fully compatible with the wiiu.
Just grab a wii remote and plug in a ccpro and BOOM..."normal" controller.
At least, unlike sony and Microsoft, Nintendo is giving you more options. And don't expect that dual shock or move wand to work with the ps4... dualshock which has had to be re purchased for each PlayStation despite being the exact same design...
At least someone mentions Nintendo...
I mean, they ARE at the top nearly every week,and yet the majority of commenters completely ignore them. Seems... a little off.
So... what are you disagreeing to?
Besides me and kaos, has anyone mentioned them yet? No.
So obviously that isn't way you are disagreeing.
Hmmm.... what could it be?......
-_-;
Well, it is clearly labeled as an "opinion piece".
I'm getting a tad bit annoyed myself, but as long as no one is trying to pass baseless/near baseless speculation as fact I don't see any problem with it.
I either make a counter point, or just walk away... e3 can't come soon enough
^_^;
From Amazon:
Storage - The console will have internal flash memory, as well as the option to expand its memory using either an SD memory card or an external USB hard disk drive.
CPU - IBM Power-based multi-core microprocessor.
GPU - AMD Radeon-based High Definition GPU.
Other - Four USB 2.0 connector slots are included. The new console is backward compatible with Wii games and Wii accessories.
4 usb slots, sd card slots and internal memory.....
I really don't see it as a switch myself. Just a fluctuating multiplatform approach.
They have a presence on the 3ds and spent a lot of dev time on it already. Now it is the Vitas turn.
Actually, they have recently stated they are re evaluating disc based dlc.
Capcom has been a huge dick recently, but when ever they screw up and own up to it they tend to 360 their stance.
Here's hoping....^_^;
No. In order to become noticeable and sell better than they are now they need something that you can't get anywhere else.
And since the 3ds has monhan, it won't be enough to just slap one on the vita. The vita needs exclusive compelling software.
For some reason, the info and screens provided so far really remind me of valkaria chronicles...(I don't think I spelled that right...^_^;)
Harm to the industry financially? I don't think so.(at least not Nintendo...)
Region locking is crap, though...-_-;
The thing is, despite the gba and ds, Nintendo is not really well known for region free gaming like Sony is. This really won't affect a large number of people.
It has affected me, as I bought another 3ds just to play monhan (and other games down the line, but for now mon hun and demo off the eshop). That money could have been spe...
Nintendo are not the only publishers focusing on Europe, either. WotS4 will be getting a packaged release across the pond, but be digital only here in America. As was arcana hearts 3.
Expect to see this trend increase within the next few years.
Really? No mention of ZOE 3?
I'm just gonna leave this here....

2d castlevania games are/were very important to the ds, so a 2d castlevania would most likely appear on this systems predecessor.
The yen to dollar is killing Nintendos profits. The euro to dollar is NOT.
Furthermore, converting euro to dollar shows that the European games cost more than the American counterparts in dollars.
Basically, Nintendo makes more money on European sales than American sales. A LOT more.
While this is a little rude of me, I would like to post a link to a blog I wrote awhile ago on the subject:

@zero the wii version sold poorly because it was a peace of crap(major bugs and all that.) meant as a test for the ps3 rerelease. Vesperia was also a test for a ps3 re release all along.
If they had actually tried making a good game, it probably would have sold better.
So I'm calling it now: it will be an unfinished wiiu exclusive that gets booted to the ps3 with the love and attention it always deserved a year later.
While the multiplatform approach like what Sony is doing is somewhat interesting, it is also kind of stupid. Who would buy the same game at the same time twice?
Unless this has more to do with putting a game on both consoles for those with only one... but still...@_@;
Although it would be cool if it was completely separate from the 3ds version and launched alongside pikmin 3... the gamecube launch all over again...^o^;
@cggod
I need a link that proves the vita is being sold at a profit, as I have heard from other sources the vita is NOT profitable:

They have been doing everything you said they should be: in Japan.
They have been mum the last few months as they are prepping it all for e3.
And while I'm sure it will make for an exciting show, I think they may be going a little overboard on the withholding of announcements and releases....@_@;
Except it should be well known by now that kaos is a parody, and is acting like that on purpose.
And no, the agree disagree system on this site isn't really indicative of anything. I have seen 100% factual statements taken down for no reason other than people not liking what they are hearing.
And lastly, I was never attacking or targeting you for an offense, but simply pointing something out.
