But his statement seems present tense, which is a mistake. Sure, all we have to go off of is last years conference, but by saying it IS lackluster without present info seems more like a misinformed jab than a personal opinion. Like a pessimistic guess rather than a real stance either way.

I think that the wiiu and 3ds individually will have more content than ps3 and vita combined at this show. Because if you look at Nintendos 3ds lineup across all regions and have been paying attention to their statements, you wil notice the 3ds Alone has more than 20 experiences waiting in the wings... and with the wiiu being a new console, it will definitely have a large showing.

You put his meanings out in a clearer fashion than he did. For a person in his position and fame within the industry, he should be more aware of how he says things and try to avoid misunderstandings.

Sometimes people may want something that isn't a good idea. Focusing heavily on graphics will make development more complicated and expensive. And following such a single minded approach combined with the destruction the increased costs of development will result in the further Shallowing of gaming.
Just because gamers think something is a good idea doesn't mean it is.

No, it has to do with the fact that it underperformed and was replaced with aqua blue.(or regardless of performance, there is no reason to have 2 blues causing shelf clutter.)
The cobalt blue cancellation is Japan only, and so is the aqua blue 3ds. Connection? Absolutely.

That would explain why they are unveiling everything early... while saying that they will be ps3 only.(or it could just be that Sony unveils all their media content pre show every year...)
I don't think it is necessarily bad as long as you understand what you are actually getting into. Jumping in full of hype without really knowing what you are buying is never a good idea.
