Your comment reminded me of an article from Kotaku a few days after FF XIII for the 360 was announced about Japanese 360 owners whining about Final Fantasy being exclusive to the PS3 in their region.

Up until that announcement, these people obviously didn't care about FF XIII coming to their console because they bought the 360 over the PS3. They did this knowing, at the time, that the game was an exclusive PS3 title worldwide.

More or less.

I don't want to spoil too much but you know the Greedo looking guy at the end of the demo with the jet pack? The one the Apprentice is fighting with? Well that guy is actually an Imperial Process Server.

The Greedo-guy tracked Starkiller down to serve him a court summons. The female hut was seeking child support!! That's actually the plot twist. The Apprentice is a dead beat dad trying to get out of his fatherly obligations so he has to kill everyone!

After playing the demo a few times I eventually got the hang of the combat mechanics. The first time through though, it was a very clunky experience as I tried to balance "dash" and "attacks" and close the gap between myself and the enemies and take them out. The second and third times was all about the Force.

Overall, I enjoyed it and will be buying it. In fact, I probably will buy it on the PSP too for the one-on-one duels.

It's too bad that I...

I think the reason they didn't is because:

a) it's not 15 hours and this is another one of those wild GTA rumors
b) R* didn't know WHAT the DLC would be and just now have an idea
c) MS doesn't care. They just wanted to sell more copies upfront and announcing exclusive DLC would do that.

Whatever the reason they didn't announce it I believe that MS wasted $50 million. Especially if the DLC is supposed to drop in October or November. All you have to do is l...

My guess it's going to be an announcement that PAX will become an official Microsoft event.

It only makes sense. The Penny-Arcade guys are already connected to MS's d..........

This is the part where I'd say something sarcastically hilarious, but I'm trying to behave after a few of my other posts were deleted.

I'm not too familiar with PAX, although I know what it is.

Is it normal to have the exact same schedule multiple days in a row?

Because MS's schedule is the exact same on Saturday and Sunday.

I generally don't buy into rumors, especially ones concerning the DLC for GTA IV.

As far as what it is, we've had CVG say its essentially a "Vice City" addition to the game.
Then we have this site saying it'll be "huge and expansion"-like.

Then we have Lazlo, a producer for the game, saying its new missions, weapons and new story elements, which could be anything.

I just wish they would say what it is. If only to build hype for ...

Because MS lied?

Kotaku acts like this wasn't expected.

More importantly, they act like this is news.

Too bad sales data for every month of 2008 except April disagrees with you.

When I see people write or hear people say things like "we have been waiting forever for Home," it makes me laugh a little.

People do realize that, although it was in planning since 2005, the application was officially announced at GDC 2007?

You listen to people talk about it being delayed and they make it sound like its been held back for years.

Nothing discrete about it. It's as apparent as the nose on your face regarding Newell's disdain for non-traditional, i.e. easy, game development.

Although I would never buy a Half-Life or TF or whatever, Gabe would at least get a little respect if he said he was wrong about the PS3. And at least be honest as to why they don't want to develop for it.

I can't deny the popularity of Valve's games, although I personally disliked the Half-Life series, and I can understand their disdain for the PS3 but is this company stupid?

Actually you can blame MS because THEY have to agree to the content as well as the pricing before it can be uploaded to the Marketplace.

Or don't you remember the fiasco of those Gears of War multiplayer maps that Epic wanted to be free but MS wanted to charge?

I've played 1 Naruto game in my life and that was a Japanese Gamecube import back in 2004 or 2005. But I really liked the demo for this Naruto game and I I think I will pick it up.

I've said in the past that the only logical progression of the main Halo franchise, i.e. not Halo Wars, is to go strictly multiplayer.

After Halo 2, that is pretty much WHAT the series became famous for. In fact, if you look at the back of the Halo 3 box, all but 1 of the pictures is for multiplayer.

Unless you're a hardcore Halo fanatic--read the novels, comics, etc--the story in the games proper, after Halo 2 and 3 anyway, is not that engaging. I would even bet th...

Yeah...you flopped you $15 PSN title that up until last month no one knew was coming.

Good thing you weren't endlessly hyped as being the next big thing in action rpg dungeon crawl...um..I mean platformers. Otherwise all the fanboys who lauded your praises would be crying and making idiotic comments or videos explaining why you're great.
