ohh..ok. i get why the are including the originals when you buy this game: for actual Banjo gameplay!
Seriously, a near 4 minute demo and the only gameplay, i.e. not flying around an empty world, is in the last 20 seconds.
They could have at least showed a different level, because all this shows is that Banjo-Kazooie is now some semi-open (and empty) world where you use vehicles to drive around a track and jump through hoops.
TBH, the only reason this ...
I think you over estimate the popularity of JRPGs as a potential reason for buying the 360, especially in the US. All you have to do is look at the sales of 360 Rpgs to see that. Not one has broken the million units sold mark.
More importantly, the release of some of these titles, i.e. Tales and Infinite Undiscovery, come within the release window of some high profile games like Merc 2 and Rock Band 2.
The truth is, despite the fact that the 360 is branching out, the...
yeah...
You're comparing a "casting video" from two years ago to the supposed "CGI"?
Hate to break it to you, but that first "CGI" is in-game. That is how the demo starts with the reporter arriving at the house. If you actually read the preview, you'd know that who ever was controlling the demo moved the character from outside to inside the house and this shot is when Cage zoomed in on the character model to highlight the detail.

I am totally shocked by this news. I mean...wow..."Microsoft loves X-Play." I need to sit down. This...this came out of nowhere. I mean, there were signs, but...no..this has to be a lie!
yup.
Thank G-D my b-day is October 24th, which means I will be getting some cash to pay for at least two of the games.
Here is hoping I get that raise next month so I can afford the rest.
Wow. Where was this righteous indignation towards other "misunderstood" games? Or how Gamespot handled reviews in the past?
While Too Human is clearly a love-hate game, a paid employee of G4 posting a personal video defending a title the majority of reviews panned, IMO, taints the "objectivity" of their game oriented lineup. In fact, it lends credibility to the Sony fanb*ys cries that G4 is nothing but a MS shill.
I'm not stupid, I know each of th...
You don't know?
Cause going by your previous post you seem to know a lot about the game to justify the "not worth the hype" comment.
And what did The Casting Demo get people to expect?
An entire game where a woman talks to the camera?
I'll bubble you cause I find the lame troll attempts funny. Like a king would a jester.
But seriously, try harder with the flaming cause amusing can quickly shift to annoying.
Not playing Too Human?
Blue Dragon sold more than TOV in it's first week and pushed more consoles too. It ended up less than 300,000 total units sold worldwide to date.
But ratio to ratio, the drop from first to second week is about the same. However, the fact that TOV (an established and well known IP) sold less than Blue Dragon (a new IP) is telling.
This will probably be the first game I get multiple versions:
PS3-to satisfy next gen goodness
PSP-cause I travel a lot for work
Wii-cause I want to swing my Wii-mote like an f'n lightsaber
"sub par side scroller"
Wow, that's an instant fail for your attempt at trolling.
Was that a jetpack or something at the end of the video?
Too bad only one of those games is going to be a hit.
While I have no doubt that Quantic Dream will deliver. I loved Indigo Prophecy. The whole fiasco with Denis Dyack should teach developers to keep such comments close to the vest. I would hate to think that Heavy Rain would have a stigma before it was released simply because of the developers boisterous attitude towards their product.
"Very exciting" MS?
Is that why the title got such a massive showing at E3 this year with tons of videos, hands on demos and a central showcase at your press conference of upcoming 360 games?
Oh wait...
I don't know why I got disagrees. I have an idea though. But I stand by my statement.
To answer your question about Riddick. Well, the Riddick game was one of the handful of titles that Activision Blizzard decided to shelve, but they never specified what that meant. So I honestly don't know what happened to Riddick (as far as being canceled or just being put on hold).
It's a shame. The original game was really good for being a movie tie-in.
While I've bashed this game my fair share, I hope it does well enough that SK can actually finish the story in either a sequel or sequels. Because, truthfully, the concept is very cool. SK just needs to find a genre that will make the series work.
Seeing as how the Legacy of Kain series evolved after the first Blood Omen, I know it can be done. But it would be a shame to waste such a potentially cool story.
As someone who played through Advent Rising (and liked it) ...
This will probably be the first game I get 3 copies of:
PS3 for next-gen goodness
PSP for those outta town trips
Wii for the one-on-one Wii-mote lightsaber action
Edit:
Wow, I didn't know that Stormtroopers could become one with the force.
