MGS 4 came out in June.

Infinite Undiscovery came out in September.

It's October. Do the math.

Edit:

Wow, talk about SPIN. You know exactly what Wildarmsjecht was talking about.

It makes for a more compelling story line for game journalists to just make up release dates. Plus, if you throw out a concrete date it tends to catch on rather quickly around the internet and gets ingrained in the minds of the people who read these sites as fact. Even if the company comes out and denies it, the fact that the concrete date was even mentioned sticks with people. It's like telling someone to not think of the color blue.

In the case of HOME, the results then go lik...

Mart's just bitter that the last 360 exclusive to get above a 9 was released last November.

Not only that but:

Happy, Sad, Fear and Anger are the FOUR BASE EMOTIONS.

Anything else is just a nuance of these four.

No prob mate. I'll edit my original comment. After re-reading it, it comes off condescending.

Uncanny.

That is exactly my list for the rest of the month.

All of these games come out on October 14, 2008.

If they do allow it, it will probably be like the supposed MOD support of the 360 version of UT III. MS will take the "best" maps and make those available.

Going by MS' own statements on user generated content though, map sharing over LIVE, especially free map sharing, probably won't happen.

Yet many of the new features coming to the NXE are already a part of Home.

So how is Sony playing catch up when, from a feature stand point, Home had the features first?

Or is it based on the fact the NXE MAY release before Home?

Known of Home for years huh?

Last time I checked, Home was officially announced in March 2007 at the GDC.

The people writing "Teen-friendly Mortal Kombat Feels Wrong" or similar titles must either be ignorant of the franchise's history or just too young to remember the realities of the game.

While the original Mortal Kombat pushed decency laws with it's fatalities, when it hit the home consoles it was rated "MA-13" which is the equivalent of a "T" rating.

Go back and play the original. It had very little blood (of which MK v DC has "MK ...

Nintendo leads, MS leads, Sony leads...

and at the end of the day it's meaningless to 99% of the gaming public.

Then they shouldn't call it a "sell out." That denotes no supply on the consumer end.

Instead, they should have said "sell through" if it was a stocking problem in the distribution end of it.

If the sell out was totally legit, then how come the 360 went back to selling it's pre-Tales numbers following the boost and continued to do so until the price drop?

Isn't the definition of a "sell out," at its fundamental base, that there are NO CONSOLES TO SELL?

MS is obviously a multi-billion dollar company, so I suspect they know how to get the most out of their investments.

But paying $50 million for the idea of DLC with no concrete schedule on a physical product seems kind of wasteful.

Unless:

1. MS knew it was coming in 2009 and continued to push it as a fall release in hopes of driving more GTA sales this holiday.

2. MS is releasing it in 2009, along with all their other planned DLC, during...

As a longtime Squaresoft (f*** you "Square-Enix") fan..I say this with all sincerity it's time for you to hang it up as rpg developers.

Level 5 is the new rpg king. From Dark Cloud to Dragon Quest to Rogue Galaxy and Jean D'Arc, this studio constantly tops itself with great stories and innovative gameplay. Each one of their games impresses me, while every new offering from SE continues it's slow decline into mediocrity.

It's telling when a studio (Level 5)...

@Lucas

While MS is spending the money to get former Sony exclusive franchises, Sony is created a myriad of new franchises while maintaining those older series.

@Omegasyde

Yeah, I did. I was completely disappointed and like..what the hell?

This does look promising though. I will keep it on my radar.

I think this is fake.

1. The link isn't valid.
2. I cannot find the story or interview anywhere on Gamespot. Even going through the multiple channels on the site and direct searches reveal nothing.

I think EA missed an opportunity here with a LE set.

Since the game is supposedly the 3rd part of the overall "Dead Space" story and the 1st and 2nd part are a comic series and DVD respectively, It would have been a great idea to include a mini-comic set and dvd/blu ray as extra material.

I'm hoping that somewhere down the road they do this. Partly because it would be a cool idea and partly because the movie doesn't actually come out until October 28th. So ...
