I liked it too. My only complaint is that the story just fell apart towards the end of the game.
A good cross section of games. But I was disappointed that both Dark Forces and Dark Forces 2 were not on there and that the author chose "Jedi Academy" over "Jedi Knight 2." Oh well.

But I gotta make a comment on Star Wars snobs--those that dismiss the prequels because they "ruined the movies I saw as a kid"--and this quote:
"Like many nerds who grew up in the late seventies/early eighties, everything that I held dear ab...
@Jenzo
According to SEGA SAMMY FY 2008 results, which end in Sept 2008, Valkyria Chronicles sold 300,000 copies in Japan.
Since it was released in Europe and the United States in October and November 2008 respectively, that total is Japan alone. But the interim report, as of yesterday, has VC at nearly 200,000 total. Which isn't bad.
uh huh.
The numbers listed in the article are wrong. I'm looking at the actual financial report (I have a pretty sizable investment in SE and received a rather meager dividends check in June) and the numbers of units sold listed here are rounded up by as much as 100,000 units in the case of Dragon Quest V and 10,000 units for some of the other titles listed.
Not only that, but the 57% increase is an illusion. While it is a significant boost from the SAME TIME FRAME as the last fiscal YEA...
While I can get behind SE's strategy of expanding into the west, I do not understand their complete disregard of the PS3 in the process. Granted, most of the games released so far have been sub-par but there are 16 million PS3 owners in the world and I would estimate a fourth of those would no doubt purchase a SE title if it were available to the platform.
As far as Wada goes, I really hope that these loses make the rest of the board reconsider his tenure as President and CEO. U...
I wonder if SE will finally get the hint..
well, the issue stems from the psp 3000's new LCD. Because it produces brighter and more natural colors and attempts to alleviate image "ghosting", the scan lines and interlacing appear more visibly than they normally would. This issue is apparent on game that change brightness drastically, have a lot going on screen and even during some video playback.
While the first iteration of psp 3000's experience this problem, and since Sony is aware of the issue, it is assumed t...
you do realize that's from the multiplayer right?
Looks like someone decided to bring "Shinobi" into the next generation.
Two reasons
1. Launching the original Gameboy with handheld versions of popular NES franchises
2. Pokemon
yes...chrono trigger was a great game for the SNES in 1995. It was even better 4 years later when it was re-release on the PS 1 with anime cutscenes.
Or if you didn't want to buy it, you could have played it for free by downloading ROMS.

Yes, they are still the king.
However, they are the old, decrepit king hunched over in their throne barely conscious and oblivious to the fact their power is slipping from them.
1. True they will cut the price.
2. True Sony will be outsold this holiday.
But does that mean the system won't sell?
Or rather,
Does this mean the PS3 will not sell to Sony's expectations?
Which, to the chagrin of fanboys, is what ultimately matters in the business world.

To this last point, I don't know. No one really does.
I mean, to those of us NOT privy to Sony's PS3 strategy and expectatio...
That's a great score. I've always liked the PoP series (even Warrior Within) so I was already going to buy it, but it's good to know it's a solid title nonetheless.
So they are only "honest PS3 owners" if they care the game was canceled instead of saying they don't care?
Hate to break it to you, but there are PS3 owners who legitimately don't care about this game one way or another. So it being canceled legitimately won't bother them. I know it's hard to believe in your little fanboy world..
As far as your comment... "you guys should be upset that the 360 gets another exclusive because the ps3 is so damn hard to d...
I liked Fallout 3 but I didn't like the fact it was such a definite ending. I guess I was spoiled with Oblivion and the fact you could just keep going and continue quests after the main story wrapped up.
That aside, it's still an awesome game and even with the ending(s) being what they are it's worth checking out.

Well supposedly UE 3 WAS optimized for the PS3 by Epic for the release of UT 3. The assumption there was that once that optimization happened all UE 3 games would be better able to run on the PS3 from that point forward.
Now, whether or not Epic shared that optimized code with the studios that licensed UE 3 from them is another matter. I don't ever remember a follow up after UT came out that stated if that was the case and I think many people just assumed Epic released the opt...
haha..that's why I threw in the statement questioning their honesty.
I agree that the prequel story (Episodes 1 especially) was a bit convoluted as Lucas tried to balance the rise of the Empire and the story of Vader. However, the story started to become less convoluted by Episode 3 where the plot was overly simplistic--something that many reviewers used to go after the movie. But the truth is, Lucas isn't stupid. If anything, his only flaw is that he's just arrogant.
He knows that a majority of his fans are older than the "PG" rating of...
