I couldn't agree more. If it released for the PS3 in April or May that would be fantastic. As it stands right now, I have to:
Finish Fallout 3
Put in some quality time with Valkyria Chronicles
Finish Far Cry 2
Start Tales of Symphonia 2
Get some multiplayer going with Gears 2 and Resistance 2
Stop obsessing the little details in my LBP levels and finish the single player
I wouldn't go that far yet.
I mean, at least we know a playable build of Huxley exists.
That's amazing since, in a press release in May 2008, MS touted a US install base of 10 million and their global install base at "nearly 21 million." Even with more current numbers, including the "10 million milestone" in Europe, it would push the numbers at about 22 million and some change.
Soo..either MS has sold nearly 3 million consoles in about six months. Or they are inflating those numbers a bit.
And RROD is not dead. I bought a second 360 in July after the first price drop and it got the RROD a week later. Then it got it again in late September. Luckily I got it back before Fable 2 came out.
The funny thing though is that it happened the first time I actually booted the system up to play some titles I missed out on from January 2007 to July 2008. You see, my first 360, a launch unit, kicked the bucket in January 2007 after one bout with the RROD and then with a dead dis...
It's amazing that, with the videos out there on YouTube, gaming websites resort to posting mis-labeled and old footage.
I think it has more to do with the prestige of the GT series than anything else.
Over the years, GT has evolved passed a mere game and has become a showcase for big-name automakers and their products. Essentially, GT has become a glorified car commercial that you can play.
This in itself as a problem, though. The developers of the game are avid car-freaks and develop, model and program their cars based off the engineering specs of their real world counterparts..i.e....
It is the multiplayer.
Level 5 has already stated that the multiplayer will be MMORPG-like.
ugh..this is not a new trailer. It was released in late September.
More importantly, it shows off the MMORPG-like multiplayer. NOT the single player game.
Look at the pics where the sun is visible.
On the PS3, there is a sun.
On the 360, it looks like the sun exploded.

Other than that, they are nearly identical
I laugh at those that say these are bad numbers for FIRST DAY sales considering:
Ace Combat 6: 73K in one week.
Tales of Vesperia: 108K in one week w/ 24k sold the first day.
It's you people who've named him such.
I agree with the author, overall it wasn't that scary of a game. The ONLY time I really jumped was the first time the tentacle grabs you near the medical bay. That whole sequence really freaked me out because I couldn't aim at the yellow sack and hit it enough times before it sucked me into the hole.
Other than that, the scares were rather predictable. I mean, when you walked into an "empty" room, there was a 90% chance that a quarantine would be issued or some sort of...
I know in the U.S, the attach rate for the 360 is 8:1. But does that include both retail and LIVE Arcade? Or just retail?
I don't follow these numbers at all and have never really thought about it. Anybody know?
@Jeremy
These are actual numbers from the likes of EA and Ubisoft. They cannot make up these numbers or "spin" them because that is illegal.
What's also funny is one of the items listed in the Fallout 3 CE is...
Fallout 3.
Here's the first bullet point:
The Fallout 3 Collector's Edition includes:
* Fallout 3: From the creators of the award-winning Oblivion comes one of the most realized game worlds ever created. Create any kind of character you want and explore the open wastes of post-apocalyptic Washington, D.C. Every minute is a fight for survival as you encounter Super Mutants, G...
Here's how it works in simple economics:
1. Sony is a Japanese based company that has nearly 77% of it's assets in foreign markets. Foreign markets being the U.S and Europe.
2. While Asia is tumbling economically, it's not as bad as Europe and the U.S. In fact, the yen as a high valued currency hit an all time high against the dollar.
3. Now, as the article claims it might be necessary to sell off some stock (which is what usually happens) or to devalue the stocks whi...
I just experienced a glitch that I haven't read about and it forced me to restart the game. I'm pissed.
I just finished the Crucible and went back to finish up some quests, buy some property, etc. When I fast traveled back to Oakfield, I decided to partake in the "Protect the Light" quest--the one where you go to the Wellspring Cave to weed out the Shadow-monks.
In the third room, I defeated the boss and, as he was dying he tried to fall off the pedestal ...

Damn, you beat me to the smart-ass comment.
Oh well, bubbles anyway.
Hmm..global market downturn and Sony cuts earning forecast. The result, shareholders sell their stock because they expect dividends to be low.
When the economies balance out, which it looks like Europe and Asia will before the US, the value of the stock will increase since there is less being traded.
Welcome to economics 101 360 fanboys. You see, SONY encompasses a more diverse portfolio than MS--gaming, movies, music, electronics. While cutting forecasts by 57% seem...
The one thing I wish Sony would do is market their engines to third parties.
The Killzone engine, the Rachet and Clank engine, the Uncharted Engine, are all quality engines. Sony could do really well leasing them to third parties and it would cut down on some of the headaches developers have with the hardware.
