Umm.. MGS has appeared on:
Gamecube
and
Xbox
Spoony, if you actually read the article you'd know that it ends with:
"Speak for yourself, Kojima! Any Metal Gear is good Metal Gear as far as I'm concerned."
Yeah, that screams bias, huh?
@Crab
I used "Sony" to illustrate that this has been in place for over a year on the PS3. It wasn't meant as anything other than what it was.
Also, the irony wasn't lost, I assure you. But in this instance, Sony actually had a leg up on MS in terms of using it's network to offer games in an alternative way than disk. Which is, in it self ironic, because MS was always the one touted as having DD future---not Sony.

Well, considering it has the words "Lightning Bolt Action" above the title is a good indicator of what type of game it'll be.
All the other MG games had "Stealth Espionage Action" attached. And we KNOW how they played.
It's not a big leap in logic to make the assumption of HOW it'll play using those game descriptors.
And if it does get AAA scores, it'll still look just "ok."
Downloading Full 360 games? Welcome to 2009 MS.
Sony's been doing that for over a year now with certain PS3 titles.
Nobody's down playing it.
But the 360 fans, who called MGS 4 "a movie" sure are excited.
Congrats MS, a stage demo of Rock Band an exclusive Beetles track for the game.
That was definitely worth the five minute advanced start and the uber hype.

That's still three more than you've got.
If it's musical in nature, it's probably related to the Zune HD.

or you know, they could import the American release. Region free games and all that.
MG starring Raiden, who's revealed to be a clone of Solidus.
My thinking is that their relationship mirrors Big Boss and Snake PLUS the military with out borders logo brings to mind Solidus' mercenary campaigns (the template for the PMC's in MGS 4) where Raiden got the nickname 'white devil' and 'jack the ripper.' Again, which is similar to the Snake/BB relationship.
Im calling it now.
Exactly. Johnny's grandfather was in MGS 3--i.e. Akiba can't be a clone.
Even in the MGS Database, it says that it's kind of a tradition to have the character of Johnny in the games and it draws a line between the Johnny in MGS 3 to Akiba to show a familial relationship.
So, it makes no sense for him to be clone unless Kojima wants to rewrite history.
And there is nothing wrong with going against the grain. As long as you have a coherent argument to back it up--which this article does within the context of outlining HIS OPINION on the technical prowess of MW 2.
To immediately dismiss it because you don't agree with it is a too common tactic today from both camps.
Wouldn't that be wild if Raiden was another clone of Big Boss?
I mean, it is kinda odd that he was chosen to recreate the events of shadow moses in MGS 2 AND that he was trained and adopted by Solidus (a relationship that mirrored Big Boss' and Snakes--even ending the same way)
For all we know, Solidus created Raiden to be HIS heir.
It sounds crazy--but Kojima HAD to have a purpose for bringing Raiden into the MG universe other than the obvious. The rela...

Umm..how is he a homophobe if his favorite mission was the one where you BEAT UP THE GUY who is picking on Niko's gay friend?

Exactly right. A person is wholly responsibly for whether or not they download it. If they do, then moaning about the price (at least for them) is a hypocritical exercise. By buying it, regardless of HOW you feel about paying for it, you continue to feed the cycle.
The fact is, if no one bought these various packs, skins, or whatever other pittance of DLC devs decide to charge $10 for, the publishers might actually be forced to release this stuff in its intended...
And the species just got .00000000001% stronger.
How did MGS 2 Subsistence sell on the Xbox?
Thought so.
