@ps3d0
Apparently you can't read either. Kamikaze didn't say that the 360 was primarily a shooter console--but that the original xbox was.
The flow of logic is that the people who had an Xbox and migrated over to the 360 were interested in what the original did best--shooters. THAT is why JRPGs don't sell and the Halos' and Gears of Wars and CODs dominate the console's play time.
Sure, the 360 has done a better job of diversifying itself in terms of gam...
I doubt that's gameplay. It looks more like a target render.
But, I hope I'm wrong. I loved the first Beyond game and would love to play the sequel in this state of graphical fidelity and animation fluidity.
Since I use each service for the same thing--online play and downloading demos and DLC---PSN has a definite advantage because it's free. Even if I wanted to DL and watch movies, PSN woulds still hold the advantage for me because its free.
Going by features alone(and not the ambiguous "feeling of community" that some LIVE members claims justifies the price", the feature list of both is 98% identical (w/ each services offering somethings that the other one doesn't), ...
Was it ever NOT clear that they meant Europe? I mean, the press release WAS from SCEE after all.
But reading some of the replies on the other threads, it seems both sides jumped the guns, despite some of the spin going on above me. I mean we had:
The Sony fanboys with the chest thumping
and
The 360 fanboys with the obligatory "So, it's not like a) this game is gonna be good; b) I wanted it anyway; c) this game will even sell. I mean, ...
@both
Except most PS3 fans already knew it was only exclusive in PAL regions. It's called being able to read and comprehending the info just read--i.e. the press release from SCEE(urope).
But hey, good luck on whatever you're trying to do with your inane posts.
Man, if they release a Trilogy pack with the two movies and this game, I am all over it.
Or if they have a S.E. with the two movies packed in the game, it will be mine.
What I'm trying to say is..I want some form of combo movie/game pack Sony.

I also think it's funny that, no matter the system, Sony get's money from the game by way of owning the license. Whether they publish it or not doesn't really matter.
is it really "timed" if the DLC releases on the day of a PSN update?
I mean, most multiplat DLC releases for the PS3 on Thursdays anyway.
I shouldn't have expected anything less from World Net Daily, which is no better than tabloid mags.
If you actually read the bill, its about creating a separate, critical system's network for small and medium size businesses that deal directly with the US government--from defense related to financial institutions. They are named in the bill and are not under some nebulous "infrastructure" tab.

I was hoping they'd make a Deadpool game but now I'm not too sure. With the proposed Deadpool spin-off movie in talks, more than likely, if a game happens, it will be a movie-tie in. Which is a shame because a free range Deadpool game (one tied to the comics) would have a greater well to draw from than a movie.
It would have been nice to know what exactly he means by "flop." His definition or criteria varies, but it seems to always come back to HOW well a game sells. Which, unfortunately, is a logical fallacy to determine if a game is flop or not.
A few points towards his argument:
1. A change in developer or publisher isn't a sign that game is a flop. There could be numerous reasons WHY a game changes hands that don't include the quality of the game.

the thing about this is that, no matter HOW many people sign it, it's an unreliable indicator of an actual problem.
If I were an uber 360 fanboy, for example, I could very easily sign this petition out of spite (and these folks do exist). I may not even own a PS3.
Of if I were bored, and wanted to see if this would eventually be addressed (i.e. the petition), I would sign it.
Also, I like how it's both a "common problem" and a "small issu...
One of my favorite stories.
If the game can be half as fun as GOW, then it's an instant buy.
Actually, I didn't disagree. And if I did, you'd get a reason and not some phantom click.
As for the pic, it means nothing because of HOW the effects will be in the final product based on environmental lighting, plasmid use, etc.
I mean, this shot

But wouldn't it be funny if all these screens were from the 360 version?
I mean, other than one pic that shows an (X) and (Y) button layout, there is NOTHING that denotes which version of the game we're seeing.
The article has nothing to do with Skype on the 360. In fact, the preview text isn't even in the article.
Instead, it is saying that the use of Skype on the PS3 could be a means of adding cross-game chat w/o infringing on any MS patent.
I agree that they aren't as loud. But they still rock a room compared to the Wii or PS3. Installing helps, though.
I have to give it to MS. Instead of actually fixing the problem they offer the option to install. It's a great work around...
Wow, someone's sensitive. Especially towards an obvious joke towards the recent DLC.
But since you brought up the other content, with the exception of Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isle the other content released for Oblivion was nothing substantial. I mean, it's kinda hard to make buggy and broken "Horse Armor." (another joke, take it easy).
The problem is that this content is being released too quickly with little concern for Q-A. Especially for what ...
So it releases on May 5th?
What I want to know is:
When will the patch to fix the bugs and other broken content be released?
A couple days later? or a week?
I lost my momentum with IU after my console RROD. I still have the game (though I might trade it in to cover some of the cost of upcoming releases), but I got hooked back onto Fallout after the DLC began coming out--having to borrow my bro-in-law's 360 to play it.
I never like to leave a game half done though, so I might pick up another 360 towards the end of the year (to play MW 2) and finish up both the L & D (which I played right up to when you become chapter president) a...
