I'm with you on the price. Especially since it lacks the UMD and is overall more streamlined than the other PSPs.
PSP Go at $249
Hmm...sucks.
And it'll still be heralded as the greatest game ever with tons of perfect scores---
simply because it's Mario.
but it's got Yoshi.

Coming 2010
Reggie just said on G4
Disagreeing with me won't make it less true.
I wouldn't even bother getting the first one. I would just wait until Galaxy 2.
It looks to be the same game + Yoshi.
A Team Ninja and Nintendo co production---Metroid: Other M
A third person action-shooter title
Mario Galaxy 2 announced.
Now with more Yoshi
It's New Super Mario Bros. with co-op.
That's it?
And MGS: R was just a trailer. Yet that didn't stop Konami from showing it.
Just because something is still in pre-development (which ME 2 isn't. There is game footage. It was shown at EA's conference) doesn't mean it can't be announced as multiplat.
I doubt it will, but your logic makes no sense.
I think people hated Raiden by extension because they felt the game was a bait-and-switch.
Kojima never revealed that Snake wouldn't be playable passed the intro. Plus, the demo AND cover/box art all implied that you'd play as Snake. So people were lead one way and then totally b*tch-slapped the other way.
I personally loved the game and like the surprise.
Exactly. If you bought all the maps---does a horde mode, 3 new maps, and a purported 4 hour campaign justify the $60?
It'll sell like hotcakes regardless, so it's a pointless question to ask.
I remember that. But that was when they were calling it an expansion pack, i.e. 3-4 hours of new gameplay (story wise, anyway).
It might have changed in the last few months, though.
In the GameInformer article that broke the news of Halo: ODST (then called Recon), the creative director claimed that the game's single player campaign was about 3-4 hours long. The expansion pack---his words, not mine---was meant to be a very focused campaign that takes place within a matter of hours prior to the start of Halo 3.
That has probably changed (although that is pure speculation on my part) but until someone comes out and says otherwise, that is why many don't consider i...
"You know, we didn't say that it was exclusive," clarified Xbox executive and corporate VP John Schappert during an interview immediately following the press conference.
"We said that the next Metal Gear will be coming [to Xbox 360]," he said."
Hmm..both MS and Konami said it wasn't exclusive. Curious.
^^^
Yeah, Fat Princess. Not to mention several other PSN exclusive franchises.
But also:
Uncharted
Little Big Planet
Infamous
Heavy Rain
MAG
@ALL-3
It could be produced by Kojima. Just like Twin Snakes was produced by him by directed by someone else.
His role in that game is well documented--basically he just had the final say in terms of what could be done and what couldn't. He wasn't actually giving his input or making in major decisions in the creation of that game.
Yeah. Because it's from the Famitsu article that's been floating around here for a week.
Most of the article was blocked out and has been released in parts. Obviously the part about MGS: R was released today.
The actual issue doesn't hit until next week.
Considering this is the PSP showcase and NOT the PS3 showcase....
