A lot of times you have to shake things up to see real change. It sucks, but the 360 needs some new blood calling the shots to avoid another disappointing year. 2009 was a huge disappointment to me on the XBox front.

I don't believe that anyone in the media was sincerely trying to make the PS3 fail in the beginning. Only moron console warriors wanted that to happen, just like it's moron console warriors that want the PS3, 360 or Wii to fail now.

Too many people expected that Sony was somehow owed consumer loyalty when the PS3 launched, but that's something that must be earned. The bloggers and websites were simply pointing out missteps that Sony took in the beginning. Plain an...

That was an interesting read which played on many of the cliche's that we see so often here. Like the "this is the year of the PS3" that we heard every year since it launched. I believe that 2009 really was the year of the PS3, because that's where most of my gaming dollars went last year.

I remember when the original PlayStation and the Sega Saturn launched, and their focus was on 3D polygonal graphics. That was truly a game changer in my opinion. That shif...

Keep in mind the context of the article. The author is talking about the "Greatest Hits" types of classics. God of War III and Demon's Souls aren't officially in that club.

Seriously, those games have all held up pretty well over the last couple of years. A gamer could have a lot of fun with that list. Even GTA IV isn't a bad option. On it's own, without the lens of the past games that it's seen through, the game is solid if that's your kind of thing. I like InFamous better, though.

I see so many people didn't read the article, either. It's about "Greatest Hits" games. Sure there are great games, but this is abo...

There are some games on that list that I absolutely loved! Tag Team Pro Wrestling, Renegade and X-Men were games that I played all the time. Trust me, the NES era probably had more shovelware than what we see on the Wii and there were games much, much worse than the ones on this list.

The only thing the Nintendo Seal of Quality meant was that a company was willing to pay Nintendo royalties so that they were given the key to the lockout chip and Nintendo could charge them for ...

So this guy thinks that Microsoft is trolling the gaming community by leaking a high price to see what the reaction will be? I suppose it's possible. If they did then they know that people won't pay $149.

That would be an insane cost for an add-on, especially when add-ons are rarely all that successful. That's mostly because add-ons are rarely well-supported. Look at PSEye. It's taking Move to make the that camera relevant because it didn't have much dece...

60 bucks is a fair price for the games I love. I'd pay $40 for the ones that are good, but not great.

How many people here say they own more than one PS3? Not sure what your point is.

Oh look, it's this article again. It doesn't matter when PS3 overtakes Xbox 360. It really doesn't. Sony's going to sell PS3 consoles until they can't any more. And for all we know there will be a new Xbox within the next couple of years, so it might matter even less.

It's good to see the game doing well.

I'm so tired of seeing all of this conjecture around this thing. E3 can't get here fast enough.

All I know is that if the price and software support is right then this will be a success. If not, then it won't. Doesn't matter what anyone else says.

I can't wait for E3 so that this can be settled once and for all.

Every time I watch the Kung-Fu live video I think of the comments here about how stupid people will look using Natal. But based on what I've seen one could theoretically swap the PlayStation logo with the Xbox logo and that video would seem just as plausible.

Motion control will make us all look like idiots, whether we're holding a controller in our hands or not. The pointless bickering about whether Move is better than Natal is just that. Pointless bickering.

This has to be the easiest prediction ever made, considering how obvious it is. For 3D in Killzone 3 to be a game changer would require that more people be able to take advantage of it. I wouldn't even consider 3D support when buying the game because I won't have a 3D television. It would be nice to know that it's there if 3D is still around when I do make the jump, though.

It's the title of the article, word for word. The contributor rules say that you have to use the original title. So, although it may be a bad title for the article, it is still the article's correct title.

I think that the article is very poorly written and doesn't explain its context very well, which you have to work a little to infer. But I think it's safe to assume that he's talking specifically about Killzone 3 based on the paragraph before what looks ...

I'm still trying to figure out what other attempts they made to capture the casual market. I'm not sure what that means.

Looks at the 98% of people in this thread who didn't actually read the article. Hangs his head in shame.

Game's hella fun. More people should be playing it.
