I'm thinking of getting slim for just this reason. Put the fatty away for a rainy day. I use it so much I'll probably see the savings.

Backward compatibility? I would imagine that backward compatibility is gone forever. Microsoft quit working on it and Sony dropped it for PS2 completely. That tells me that future consoles won't even bother.
If you're talking about Blu-ray for Xbox 360 then that's a different subject. But I don't think we'll see that happen. But for the third Xbox iteration I think it's a safe bet Blu-ray will be in the box.

It's just a bump in the road. Sony has been around for a long time and this global recession is tough. Things are going to turn around.

When I think of Sony PlayStation Gran Turismo isn't what comes to mind. For some reason I think of Naughty Dog. I guess it goes back to when Sony tried to make Crash Bandicoot the mascot for the PlayStation. Still remember Naughty Dog's logo popping up...
I don't see a problem with Microsoft overpricing their USB drives as long as they don't force you to use the ones with their brand on it. Some people will buy them because they want' the logo. Other people will buy them because they don't know any better. Caveat emptor, after all. It's up to the consumer to understand what they're buying before they buy it.

I did, but my pre-order is backordered at GameStop. They said it will be 2 or 3 weeks before I get it. So I ordered it from Amazon.com and I'll just transfer what I paid over to ModNation Racers.

I found the locomotion in Uncharted 2 to be very frustrating. I thought maybe it was just because I'm getting old or something.
I'm having trouble finding this game in my area. I looked all afternoon. I guess I'll just have to buy it online. I really want to play it.
One of the characteristics of a good kart racer is that little bit of frustration it makes you feel. Bring it on!
Man, pretty much all I did with LBP was make levels and download other levels. I never made it through the story mode. Playing with the level designer is still something I love to do in my downtime, even though my levels are terrible. Mostly little Sackboy death traps.
Can't wait to give it a try.
If that's the case I'm glad they did. That would have been like mixing oil and water. I would have hated to see TakeTwo produce some of the stuff we see from EA.
Not every game is appropriate for every outlet. Red Dead Redemption is not a family game, but supermarkets tend to have lots of kids running around and generally being annoying. Red Dead Redemption is not a game for kids.
The game will have plenty of outlets that don't boycott it. If this is true it won't make any difference.
