Where do you live? When I picked mine up there were dozens of copies.
Got mine. Glad I could help.
Day 1 for me. One of my favorite games of this generation.
Lair was much better after they fixed the controls. It was immensely frustrating before the patch, but I suppose that's because I have no skill in playing games it seems. Controlling flying dragons with analog sticks FTW!
Especially since that article is nothing more than a huge whining rant. Perhaps the author should have taken his own advice and just let it go.
Ok, forget about which game looks better. Is the gameplay in Enslaved as good as the gameplay in Uncharted 2? While these games are nice to look at, I want to have fun.
This is what I got from the article:
Exclude the Wii because "hardcore" gamers don't recognize it as being a legitimate console and Wii owners are oblivious to the seriousness of the 'console war'. And ignore 4.3 million Xbox 360's because the first year doesn't count since Microsoft launched first. If you do those things, then the PS3 is undoubtedly winning the 'console war'.
And the only way those who only own an Xbox 3...
So much argument over this thing. So many wanting it to fail. I'm sure that there are people who have seen more than the red ball demo. I'm sure we'll see more than the red ball demo after E3. I'm guessing the press embargo on this is pretty tight as it seems to be what Microsoft is most focused on this year.
I'd really like to see people calm down and relax and just wait for E3. If it sucks after we see more of what it can do, then so be it and bash away....
Looking good.
First I've heard of this game. Hope it doesn't suck.
The simple answer is a question. Would you support a company that was given a tax break to create jobs, but then won't fill those jobs with unemployed workers? Would you continue to buy their consoles or games or TV's or whatever if you don't share a common ethical view? That's what it has to do with the gaming community.
It's definitely thought provoking if nothing else.
Edit: Almost separate is not separate. Both companies fall under th...
This actually isn't all that uncommon. Where I work I'm not allowed to hire someone that was let go from someplace else as a condition of the economic downturn. The CEO explicitly said that in an economic downturn the first people to get laid off are the ones that were performing at the lowest level. To get better candidates you need to hire away the ones that didn't lost their jobs.
I don't necessarily share his philosophy, but I also don't have any open ...
The disagrees are just so ironic.
Sounds like the PS3 secondhand market may be lucrative right now. Saw about a dozen of them at Best Buy last night. Someone could buy a couple and make some bucks.
Those may not be air vents for a fan. They could be for cooling, but it could be a design decision to save money on plastic during manufacturing. Companies do that all the time.
Well said. Bubbles for you.
Common sense is truly dead.
Barter maybe, but definitely not free.
I don't know if I believe that Microsoft is really planning to stay with 360 for 5 more years as their primary console. If they take a page from Sony and Nintendo I could see a new console in 2012 and support the 360 as a budget model for another few years. Just like I don't expect it to really be 10 years before Sony announces a replacement for the PS3.
I think we're getting to the point where they're going to be cheap enough to drop to the price point where...
The only beef I have with multiplayer is that many developers have sacrificed the single player experience and have focused on cheap multiplayer gimmicks to add length to games. Too bad some of these games have been some of the highest profile games of this generation.
