I doubt that they re-count the refurbs in any capacity. They should have been counted as sold once and future repairs just come out of the rotating pool.
No, not really.
And we all know that Spain is the determining factor in the console war.
I think the bickering is crazy. Think about it. There are reports that the 360's supply chain is constricted and there aren't any in stores. Then Microsoft says 18 million have been sold. So if everything that was in stores has been sold wouldn't the 18 million 360's be in customers' hands?
Ok, now I'm excited for this. I was looking forward to it, but after seeing the trailer I'm ready to play.
I never doubted that PS3 was a trojan horse for Blu-ray. And consumers bought it hook, line and sinker. I can't really say anything, though. I bought into it, too.
For the true collector this is good news. People are going to buy HD-DVD machines and media just to put in their collections along with their VCR's and laserdisc players.
They probably would have to file with the FCC for that.
I hope so. As much as I like the PS3 I wish it was a bit smaller.
I want Impossible Mission! I want Impossible Mission!
Sony constantly refines the hardware. They always have. I'm sure there will be a day when they get the components inside the system reduced to where they'll be able to reduce the form factor.
Shouldn't rubbing things in peoples' faced be reserved for the open zone?
Agreed. Nobody forced anyone to back the technology. That's the risk people take as early adopters.
Nobody's being forced to buy them. Only a fool makes an uninformed purchase.
It was on PS2 first, but in my opinion it was a better game on Xbox. I'm not saying that one version will be better than the other, but there were lots of loyal GTA fans on Xbox, too.
It doesn't matter to me if any 360 features are implemented, but you are right about one thing. There is no consistent definition of what in-game XMB really needs to provide.
If you own both the 360 and PS3 I don't see how you could be a die-hard fanboy. Unless you just kick the one you don't like every once in a while to make yourself feel better.
Sony's coming on strong. Looks like that price drop to $399 was the right move to make. I guess the next move is up to Microsoft.
When I play standard DVD's on the PS3 I think they look great.
The Wii is everyone's favorite box to bash on, but it delivers consistent sales and software performance week over week. What Harrison is really telling developers is that they aren't capable of developing software that will be successful on the Wii. Even at only 40% of the market, that's potential for 8 million in unit sales after only one year on the market. Enough to make any game successful by anyone's standards.
As much as I hate to say it, it seems to me that this is some v...
