What you're going to "chop" is a bunch of guys with female avatars. But as long as you don't know who's really behind that avatar it doesn't count, right?
Indeed it is. Which is why it makes little sense for there to be so many silly fanboy battles. People need to quit moaning and start playing some games!
The 360 is a niche console? A shooter's console? That whole post made little sense to me. I've had a 360 for two and a half years and not one of the fantastic gaming experiences I've had on the system has been a shooter. The only RPG has been Mass Effect, which is actually a great game. I can tell you haven't played it.
There are no "niche" consoles that sell like the 360 has. A niche console is something like the 3D0 or the Neo Geo that were so ridiculously expensive n...
But do you think that LBP is going to be compelling enough to get a casual gamer to fork over $400 for a PS3?
And by article you mean unreferenced, opinion-filled blog post. Right?
He did say "probably not possible". So people still have that glimmer of hope.
Nice!
Sounds cool to me.
I've never played Too Human, so I won't parrot what reviewers are saying about it. All I'll say is that there have been many games that reviewers completely panned and I ended up enjoying. A lot of people found Lair the same way, right?
You really can't judge until you've played it yourself.
It should come out this year. Especially considering that it was supposed to come out last year.
There really aren't any 360 exclusives that I'm looking forward to this fall. I'm sure some people are really looking forward to Gears 2, but I'm not really a shooter fan.
Also, why so many 360 haters in here? X08 is a Microsoft-sponsored event, so why come in here and bash the 360? That's pretty lame.
The stuff that fanboys argue over. Nobody copied anyone with this idea. Qwerty keyboard addons have been around for a long time. It's not like either Microsoft or Sony invented them.
Microsoft didn't really announce anything there last year, either.
Isn't Sony the only company that ever really shows up at Leipzig, anyway? Last year when they cut back E3 many of these companies decided to cut back on their attendance at conventions and trade shows. I wouldn't expect to see Leipzig GC in 2009.
They do. There are enough rumors floating from reliable sources that anyone wanting to spend the money will be doing their homework. Rumors alone will suppress sales.
Why would people buy them now when they know the price is about to drop.
How much did it cost to make those 140 million. Subtract that from the 140 million times $200. If there's anything left, there's your profit.
If you don't have a receipt your PS3 could be two days old and Sony would charge you $150 to fix it. No proof of purchase and you're screwed.
And the PS3 hasn't been out for 2 years.
That article is so vague. So what are the "privacy friendly" companies? The majority of data collected by these companies through their ads is not personally identifiable. Practically every website that displays ads, including this one, is collecting some sort of usage data. Maybe not the website itself, but the company serving the ads is.
Yeah, I think it will be ok for a while. But many will quickly lose interest.
