Most important release this holiday, maybe. But there will be something better on the horizon. There always is.
Exactly. As soon as LBP releases people will forget about it, too. Just as soon as the next big title is announced LBP will be a memory.
Keep it in perspective. Free DLC is possible on the 360. Just take Burnout Paradise as an example. You didn't have to pay for the Cagney update on the 360.
Nobody has open hardware except for PC gamers. And you really can't compare PC gaming with console gaming, IMO.
The small amount of online play that I do is on PSN. I found that I just didn't play online enough to justify paying for XBL. My $50 subscription went largely unused.
I think it is work XBL if you play online a lot. The more you play the more value you get from it. Just wasn't worth it for me, so I'm back to Silver.
Yep. They sure did copy Sony when they released the first High Definition video game console a year before Sony released one, didn't they? And they copied the heck out of Sony when they released an integrated online gaming platform last gen when Sony or Nintendo didn't offer any real sort of online network. And that online marketplace and downloadable movies, we all know that those were all Sony's or Nintendo's ideas, even though Microsoft came out with them first.
You're right.....
I wish that the mods enforced the Gamer Zone/Open Zone policy. Then you could find good comments instead of fanboy drivel.
I hope not. I'm already sick of hearing about the first one. I sure don't want to hear all of the "M$ COPIEZ!!1!" nonsense if Microsoft tries to do something like it.
LBP will release and then fade into obscurity as people tire of it and the next big game dawns on the horizon. Just like every game in the past has.
You had only been a member for 4 hours when you left this comment. Maybe you should reserve judgement for a couple of weeks before you start talking of bias. There are more than enough fanboys on every side to make you sick. Just be patient.
I'll never understand why so many people get their feelings hurt over being disagreed with.
That's good. Because there's going to be tons of "hay guize!1 play my resistance level!!1!" and the majority of those are going to suck.
I wonder how good the user created content will be? Like the ratio of good content to content that just blows chunks? I haven't really been following the game, but I hope they have some sort of rating system for the user-created stuff or it is going to be tough to separate the wheat from the chaff.
I don't understand why these guys can't just keep it simple. Sony and Microsoft need to take a page from Nintendo's book and keep the clean, simple interfaces. More complexity doesn't always equal a better experience.
Home isn't going to change the way that people do anything. It is going to be a novelty at first and then usage is going to drop off sharply. If I read that article correctly, then wouldn't Nintendo and their Mii's also have to live in a virtual world that united gamers?
I could be wrong, but I think that Home is going to do nothing but add an unnecessary layer. I'm also a bit peeved about the new 360 dashboard. All I want is a simple interface, not a forced online community.
I have to wonder if Namco's going to keep this one exclusive. Since it runs on the PS3 hardware in arcades chances are that it will, but stranger things have happened.
Tekken was the best 3-D fighting series. But it never got better after Tekken 3, in my opinion. I think that Soul Calibur, Namco's other baby, is a better fighter. I hope that Tekken 6 comes back and kicks the series up a notch.
They actually released it? I was starting to think the thing was vaporware.
The guy would be telling a different customer support story if he didn't have a receipt. I can attest to that much.
I'm fairly sure that the story is complete BS. Sony's not going to just send someone $200 worth of free stuff for an in-warranty repair.
Delaying the game to incorporate the extra content is cool. I'm surprised, though. It seems like the standard these days is to release add-on content and make us pay extra for it.
Well, if it always sells best in Japan, and the majority of the people arguing about it aren't Japanese, then why are people arguing over it? Because if people in the rest of the world aren't buying it in droves then it seems silly to argue about it.
