It's so funny that everyone is blaming Microsoft for raising the price of games. If Microsoft is so evil for doing that then why aren't PS3 games $49 like Wii games are? Oh, wait. Publishers have to sell their games for $59 because the Microsoft forces them to, even Sony first-party developers. I forgot.
If anyone was actually old enough to remember when the 360 released you'll remember it was the publishers that demanded the price increase because prices had stayed the same sinc...
The more outrage you show toward Microsoft the faster your bubble count rises. I find it hilarious that the majority of people that complain about Microsoft's pricing are people who aren't even their customers.
Maybe they secretly really do want to own a 360, but they feel they just can't afford to buy every single option. So the right thing for Microsoft to do would be to just give them away to anyone who wants one, along with all of the accessories they want. Just like Sony doe...
Looks like the trolls are out in full force in this one. More and more flamebait.
DJ Hero was the first game that actually gave me cramps to play. The concept is cool and the music is good, but the controls were uncomfortable for me.
You'll say that it's mistreatment until it happens to you. Sometimes these things are defective and they just break.
I've lived this long without them. No big deal, really.
No kidding.
^^ Not even. Every single firmware thread is full of people whining about cross-game chat and Live users rubbing it in. But there are many more people whining about not having it. I don't even understand why it's that important.
That's weird. I've been watching Netflix streaming on PS3 like crazy and I've yet to see a skip or a hiccup.
What makes you think it isn't complicated to implement? If it were simple you probably would have seen it a long time ago.
15-18 year olds are not "older gamers" by any stretch of the imagination.
Well Saaking, what is Microsoft's install base? It's big enough to lead the industry in total sales revenue pretty much every month. The PS3 is closing in, but it isn't there yet.
So Sony should condone piracy?
Nobody's forcing anyone to buy anything. What are you on about?
Prisons are full of people who would tell you that they're innocent. All you have to do is ask them.
I don't remember having to pay anything extra to get patches and play games on the 360. What kind of fee are you talking about?
Then everyone except the modders win! Score!
There are over 6.5 billion people in the whole world. What are you trying to say?
XBox Live accounts are free, so you can have one for everyone. If you want them to be Gold, then you have to pay. Is that the case now? Everyone in your home plays online games and they all need separate accounts? Do they play them all at once? So why not share the Gold account? Unless, of course, you're all playing on different consoles at the same time.
I'm pretty sure that Microsoft would rather lose a $300 sale than make one and lose thousands of dollars to piracy instead. The bad thing about this is that people will be asking the idiots who work at Gamestop what they should do.
But this will all blow over in a week or two and we won't hear anything about it. By Thanksgiving the only people who will be talking about it are people on websites like this.
