Crazy chicks are hot!
Pachter has a shaky track record. I wouldn't take his word for anything.
No doubt.
You forgot to list "Real Mistress" in there. Something has to be a reasonable prequel to "Real Ex-Wife".
Crap, that'll take me a year to complete with the rate I actually play through and finish games. I still haven't made it all the way through the first Uncharted, even though I am through the first chapter of Uncharted 2.
That was an interesting read. Clearly one-sided, but interesting anyway. I also like how he plugs for donations by saying he's not plugging for donations.
As far as victorious, the best Microsoft can ever hope to achieve is to be reactive by banning modders. They've lost to hackers in this generation and can only work to make the next generation more secure. Perhaps if they fill the next box with expensive, proprietary hardware that isn't cost-effective for hackers they'll postpo...
You're right. So far it's a small number of users. What software or hardware product is there where a small number of users haven't seen significant problems? Of course around here you'll get bashed and told it's your own fault if somebody's stuff breaks, but that's a conversation best kept for another topic.
The truth is that nobody knows the extent of this issue. I'm sure we'll see lots of people here claiming to have it just to fan the flames. I have 3 laptops in my home running Windows 7 and I've applied all of the recent security patches to them. So far no problems at all.
"imagine the shoe was on the other foot, would you still think this justifies death? "
Like if the baby stayed up playing games all night and fell asleep on him? Not sure what you're trying to say.
I don't think he should be put to death. I really think that he should have to live with what he's done. A much more fitting punishment.
Not sure I'd call replacing a previous model PSP with a PSPGo an upgrade, but that's just me.
You can tell the difference between 720p and 1080p if the display is large enough. I'm happy with my 46", but the 55" Samsung LED is looking pretty sweet! I can't wait for the price of LED's to come down, because I want one so bad! lol
Especially if the ripoff makes money. Then it becomes theft of intellectual property and people start suing. But this being a Chinese developer I doubt if anyone could touch them.
What is it they say? That imitation is the highest form of flattery? I wonder if Nintendo is flattered?
The concept isn't a bad idea, but it wouldn't work well if it were the only method of playing games. The kind of bandwidth necessary would be prohibitive to a large number of gamers. And honestly, what would be the need for a console at all? People could access something like this via their PC, which would probably be much better equipped to deal with it.
Quite high? Based on what? All console makers price peripherals outrageously, but this isn't a peripheral. It's a service.
And Live isn't really all that expensive, unless you consider $4.17 per month expensive. Costs more than PSN, but it isn't prohibitive.
Heck, Disney figured this out ages ago. Except they package a DVD and a Blu-ray disc in the same box. If I can get both formats in one package it's a win for me. I like to watch movies on my laptop, but it doesn't have a Blu-ray drive. So if it doesn't have either a DVD or a digital copy I'm less inclined to buy Blu-ray than DVD.
Suspended and banned are not the same thing. But it would be helpful if Microsoft gave a specific reason and not some canned message.
Not sure why people feel the need to advertise their sexual orientation. But I'm not sure Live is the appropriate place to do it.
Good riddance to bad rubbish I say. At least I know they'll be playing legal games on PSN.
Gaming couldn't survive in Japan without Japanese game developers. But I think it could survive in the rest of the world. Many Japanese developers already have studios in other countries that make games catering to mostly Western tastes, and if that's where they make money that's where they'll focus.
There are many who will disagree, but Japan has been becoming more and more irrelevant since the PS2 days. SCEE and SCEA have just as much, or more influence in Sony's gaming divisio...
I question whether cross-game chat will ever become a reality on the PSN since the model there is for publishers to host dedicated servers. It makes me wonder if a publisher would be cool with allowing chat with someone playing a competitor's game.
It might not make any difference at all, but like I said...it makes me wonder.
