Only 3% of buyers were on PC. I wonder what the percentage of players is on PC?
I completely agree. Microsoft is crazy to charge $100 for a 60GB drive.
Perhaps only in the UK, but Europe as a whole seems to be moving more PS3's than 360's. I wonder why the 360 seems to move more in only the UK?
You know, I could see Microsoft disabling a dedicated cheat device. Sony especially fought cheat devices over the last two generations by constantly changing hardware configurations and system software. Those devices reverse-engineer the console's hardware and software for the express purpose of breaking the rules.
But a memory card? That's just ridiculous. I'm sure that someone could hack a Microsoft memory card and do bad stuff with it if that was their intention. That's why it...
And get yourself banned from Xbox Live in the process.
I love how folks think they have to make it personal. Exactly what I'm talking about and completely validated what I said. Thanks!
By the way...I'm a PS3 owner, too.
Gaming is a social activity. It seems to me that it fits right in with sites like Facebook.
War crimes are disallowed in books, movies and TV? Where does this censorship occur?
It is frustrating when people quit because they're losing, so I'm ok with action being taken. It sucks if your connection drops, but I'd say that's probably a very small percentage of cases.
Millions of people log into Facebook from myriad devices every day. Not sure why this is newsworthy.
I can see taking action to prevent people from using the Datel device to take advantage of exploits. But couldn't they have addressed that without completely disabling the cards? That doesn't just hurt Datel, that hurts consumers.
Know what's funny? I didn't even post in the last topic.

If I did I sure can't find it. Maybe you'll have better luck. I'd really like to see where I was "relating to the topic" in there.
Sony has the same powers. Read the terms of use for PSN and purchases from the PlayStation Store. That's standard operating procedure for copyright holders.
Microsoft doesn't owe anyone a trial. Every time you log in to Xbox Live your 360 sends a diagnostic hash to Microsoft that they can use to tell if your 360 is operating according to spec. They know whether your components are original, and they know whether you've flashed a hard drive or DVD drive.
They aren't banning people without evidence. Chances are they can tell exactly what modifications have been made just by the info the collect from your box. Doing it without evidence ...
I'm not sure why anyone would think that Microsoft would have pity on people who buy used consoles that have been modded without their knowledge. Seems to me that if I go to Gamestop and buy a used 360 that has been banned then Gamestop owes me a working one, not Microsoft. If I buy a used 360 off of Craigslist then the person that sold it to me is on the hook, not Microsoft.
It isn't the government banning consoles.
Scratch-resistant does not equal scratch-proof. This is probably the most lame reason ever to buy one version over another. If you take care of your games then you don't have to worry about scratching them during normal play. And I haven't heard of a 360 scratching discs on its own in ages now.
Final Fantasy has been on multiple discs before. That's not a big deal.
Just get the version you prefer and be done with it.
I doubt that I would pay for a premium service. If I can get the level that I'm getting right now for free I don't see any reason for it.
I've seen all of these in other articles posted over the last several months, but they're still fun to look at.
Can you really call what the Wii has accomplished a bubble? Especially considering that it has moved more than 55 million units worldwide? A fad lasts for a very short period of time, not 3 years.
That isn't to say that there isn't a ton of shovelware on the Wii. There are tons of bad Wii games at impulse buy prices that I think do turn some consumers off. Personally I only buy Wii titles that I know are quality franchises. Most, but not quite all, come directly from Nintendo. I...
