In my opinion EVERY FPS is more of the same Halo. The visuals may change, but the concept remains the same. Oh how I wish for more original games.
In my experience there's a lot of dead air on PSN. Lots of people to play with, but not as many to talk to while playing. That cheap little headset that Microsoft included in all of those consoles went a long way to building the community.
I can't see how anyone could possibly believe that Nintendo made a mistake with the Wii. 50 million sold in less than 3 years, profitable from day 1 and still a strong seller.
Panic mode? Every single detractor has been wrong about the Wii since the beginning. For more people it's about the fun than the flash, and there's way more opportunity to have fun with a room full of your friends on the Wii than the other platforms. Seems to me that Microsoft and Sony forgot that some peop...
Reggie is sleeping on the mountain of cash that the Wii has generated over the last 3 years. Until the Wii stops selling, which it hasn't yet, neither Sony nor Microsoft is going to catch them in this generation.
Netflix is not available in Europe as far as I know.
Doesn't suck for me. I've been streaming Netflix on my TV by hooking up my laptop via HDMI. Now I don't have to go through the trouble.
It's written word. There is no explicit tone unless there are words to literally express it.
I hope my Netflix streaming disc arrives today. I want to try this out on my PS3!
Heh, 600K in 2 weeks is a flop? Wow, that's amazing. By your standard 98% of games are flops. How do you expect anyone to ever take you seriously?
You heard it from zoks310, guys. Resistance 2 and LittleBigPlanet are both flops according to his standard since neither approached 600K in their first two weeks.
This "story" is a joke. The game is not, considering it is highly rated and selling quite well. Not sure why so many people are insecure about it.
Ah, more flamebait for a Friday. I guess the haters are so desperate to disparage the game they forgot the editorial rules when they approved the story. This is why we can't have nice things.
Prologue has definitely earned more than $60m in revenue with sales of 3.2 million. Not all of those sales were at $40 since you can pick it up new on disc for $25. But it probably had to earn at least $100m in revenue.
I imagine that sales of GT5: Prologue has probably already paid for it. I seriously doubt that they're in the hole.
Best Buy has a $349 Acer laptop with 3GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, an AMD Athlon CPU and Windows 7 Home Premium. If you're going to spend $300 on this you might as well spend the $50 and get the better deal from Best Buy.

Celerons are reliable for light duty computing tasks. But they don't hold up well for processor-intensive applications like photo editing or software development.
That's the truth. Just go look at the comments on the article about the $100 gift card at Walmart. That one was full of desperation theory idiots.
And do you and your mate have exactly the same system settings, installed games and game updates, media files, etc that sa_nick has? Is your configuration exactly 100% the same? Does your 60GB system have hardware BC? Or the software BC? Are you all using HDMI cables? Or perhaps you all have component cables.
All things are not equal and it is impossible for Sony to test for 100% of configurations. So if a system dies as a result of an untested configuration, which is entirely po...
I guess if you don't mind handing Sony $150 if your console bricks after a firmware update then I guess not. But if you don't mind doing than then it's not those guys that are the sad ones.
In a class-action suit the plaintiffs don't pay the legal fees. The legal fees are paid out of the damages and the plaintiffs often get limited compensation. The idea behind them isn't for the plaintiffs to get rich, it is for the defendant to change their practices and accept responsibility for the damage they have done.
When Sony settled the PS2 lawsuit they agreed to fix or replace the systems of people affected by the problem and compensate them with $25 and a free game. If y...
Mine just came in the mail. Time to give it a shot!
