Lose respect for Capcom. If it was simply an issue with disc space on the 360 they could offer the DLC as a free download on 360 and include it in the PS3 version. They intended to have whatever this is as paid DLC all along. The 360 excuse is just marketing.
Tells me that Capcom never really intended to include this content in the game at all. I guess using the 360 as the reason is a good way for them to justify it.
You might be overthinking this a bit.
The "capture card" issue is pure BS. This guy edited the heck out of this video in an attempt to make it seem like he was an innocent victim of a bully moderator. Granted, the moderator could have acted a bit more professionally.
I shake my head for everyone who feels sorry for the guy. He went out of his way to cut what he said out of the video and only show the final interaction with the mod. He picked the wrong guy to pick on and got busted.
It's funny that people get so wrapped around the axle on exclusivity. I wonder if, when it comes to games, Sony and Microsoft really worry about PC as a competing gaming platform. There isn't really a dominant hardware manufacturer out there pushing and marketing PC's to gamers as aggressively as Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are marketing to gamers. You'll see Alienware ads, but Alienware is competing more against other PC manufacturers than they are home console manufacturers.

Everyone knows that the more GB's there are in a game the more fun it is.
I may be in a minority, but I'm ok with no FFVII remake. I'd rather see focus on new games instead of remaking old ones. FFVII was a fantastic game, and I bet I played it a dozen times way back when. No sense messing with a memory.
I'm sure it's bias against the French. :P
A fantastic game worthy of every award it has received. I have to say that I'm so happy with the quality of games in the last couple of years.
I wonder what the sales are going to be like in the countries that you mention. Because historically, in those countries especially, people have been using more pirated copies of games than purchased copies of games.
I have no doubt that Gran Turismo 5 is going to be an awesome selling franchise, particularly in Europe. But I'm not so sure of Asia outside of Japan.
I've seen enough pics of the Madison Paige model, thanks. Google has an image search if I really want to see more.
These "everything is riding on this" articles are amusing. It isn't "do-or-die" for consoles when it comes to motion controllers. The PS3 and Xbox 360 already have a core audience that support each platform, so the best they can hope to do is steal some market share from Nintendo. These kinds of aftermarket peripherals rarely take off and do anything really substantial. Case in point the webcams for the 360 and PS3.
I think that Sony and Microsoft are missing ...
I would be good with that. If it is possible to make a superior version on PS3 then go for it. It would really drive people to PS3, that's for sure.
When the 360 was developed there was no commercially available Blu-ray. There was no way they could have gone with it since BD-ROM specs weren't final until after the 360 released.
I don't think you'll ever get that GTA. Space is one thing, but the time and money to create a world with that kind of detail will be the biggest prohibiting factor.
Ah, so a rehash of the Capcom thing. I suppose Capcom has the choice to preserve their creative freedom and ship the game only for PS3 if they don't like the creative limitations that the 360 imposes on them. I guess their creativity doesn't extend to being able to work with what they have.
Microsoft's Controller S for the Xbox was probably the most comfortable controller I ever used. I'm glad they based the 360 controller on the design.
But the D-pad on both sucks. Really bad.
Patents are ideas, not products. It makes more sense to me that this is to prevent third parties from creating multi-console controllers more than it is an indication that Sony's making one themselves.
How many hours of frustration does it promise? Might as well add those in. I recall past games where it would take hours just to beat one boss.
Even with Blu-Ray there is still paid DLC for PS3 exclusives. DLC at its heart isn't about space on disc. It's a way for developers to continue to earn revenue from games they've already released. You can go onto PSN and see tons of DLC for PS3 exclusives. Look at LittleBigPlanet. Tons of DLC for that game. Can't blame DVD for that.
I think that many people are confused and can't separate the issues of lack of disc space on Xbox 360 and the true motives of companies like Capcom. ...
